Very close fight, hometown and points deductions meant you figured Crolla. But I think we will get another big night at Manchester Arena. It was an unlucky decision rather than a robbery. And when the emotion settles and you still think it is a robbery tomorrow morning, it will be pretty clear you do not know the meaning of the word in a boxing sense.
WTF are you dribbling on about ? Burns Beltran judges were British, Belgian ( i think ) and American. Only judge who scored the fight to Burns, was American.
Crolla was winning by 2 rounds without the deductions. A blind man might have a case for scoring a close fight.
Crolla edged that IMO, was fighting on the front foot for most of the fight, Perez was let off the hook by the judges.
Forget the judges, It's the inconsistency of Sky Sports, Nick Halling shouted down the mic "He's been robbed..." tonight when the decision was announced, now where was that outrage when Beltran was handed a draw for a fight he clearly won? Where was the outrage? There wasn't any, there was a few "Burns is a lucky man..." Comments but no shouting down the mic about robberies. That's the problem , the inconsistency and bias of Halling and the rest of them, it generates negativity and it almost sways you to the away fighter because it is so annoying.
I had it 6/6, which means Crolla by two with deductions. But a lot of them rounds were close. I think the frustration comes because Anthony won most of his rounds convincingly, but lost a few by a narrow margin, but either way it is scored the same. Crolla proved himself for real; and I will concede, I thought he would lose, and maybe even be embarrassed. So he deserves another chance, and by the sounds of it, that is going to happen.
Really enjoyed that fight. No clinching both fighters boxing at range Perez the more aggressive and better work rate, Corolla with the crisp jab and skills, thought It was just about edged by a round or two for Crolla, a rematch is in order I think.
If one tight round had been scored to Anthony, he would have won, but it was not, thus he was unlucky, because I am guessing the judges gave the benefit of any doubt to the reigning title holder. A robbery in boxing terms is when a fighter clearly wins, which as shown by both ours, the judges and pundits opinions is not the case. It is because Crolla did rise to the occasion and had the back story to get every on side, that we are on a bit of a downer. Which is a shame, as it was a very good nights boxing.
No, I thought Crolla's won, have no problem with Crolla but obviously I'm not explaining myself properly and I apologise, maybe I should stop drinking heavily :tired Look, It is ruining my entertainment and others, it spoils the fight you are watching.
***** only has one E, ( should have asked your mother ) Go look at the drivel you post, do you expect anybody to take you seriously ? My Daughter works with people like you and gets paid a fortune for it. Its good that they don't keep your sort locked up all the time anymore. Live and let live i say. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
