precisely he's gone upto lightweight and knocked out a decent fighter for the british title, he is still young, im not sayin burns should fight him now read the opener to the thread i said what about in 12 months! crolla is a huge sfw and will go back down and be dominant and british and european level imo

Last night was the 1st time i seen Crolla live.

I liked how he was moving up for the fight and not only that, he stood in front of his boy.....maybe he had/knew his number.

    Impressed i was...

Regardless of current experience etc, i would take Burns on this if said fighters were on a level platform....Burns will trade and his output is above average.

Does Crolla always stand/walk down his opponents ?

Am asking as said, i dont know a lot of him.

    Cheers :good

Goes to show how bad Burns' opponents are that Crolla is being spoken of as a credible opponent based on beating John Watson. Crolla has a lot of potential, but as it stands, that's it, at 'world' title level anyways.

crolla is gonna be one for the future. id rather see him take european title and make a few defenses just to give him a little time two bring him on. all the basics are their already. he has a great defense and a real strong solid style of pressure fighting that he has taken up to lightweight with zero problems and a heart to go with it. his body shots need improving though an we're yet to see he take a punch off a real banger like rees. if he beats rees i see no reason why he wouldn't beat burns but thats gonna take him into a level thats he's not at yet because lets face it burns aint gonna hold that title much longer anyway.

I don't think burns is truly world class neither, top bloke is ricky... theyre are a number of better sfw's out there then martinez, burns performed out of his skin that night, he needs to prove himself by fighting guys ranked in the top 50 and not danish school boys or african journeyman. i blame it mostly on warren, burns shud tell fwank what he wants
