Ok, so Ants big day is almost upon us, how do we all see this going?
I find it quite a suprise that im choosing Anthony to stop Jorge, can u actually believe it? Linares has been a super fighter over the years but i now reckon with the momentum ants has behind him, hes on such a roll especially considering you would of never picked him over linares say 2yr ago but jorge is coming towards the end ofhis career and hes not quite the linares of fw and sfw fame. Hes had 2 major life and deaths at lw and then won the lw title from priesto iirc.
Crolla has him at the right time and after a fast start from linares i expect ants to start wearing him down for a championship rds stopage.
    Hows everyone got this fight?

    Linaries by KO
They should have gone for Flannigan - probably would have been more money as well.

I got Crolla by late KO, Linares is prone to cuts and I see Crolla who has a good engine putting on him in the lae rounds and making him quit.

Excluding Crolla landing a good body shot late, I dont see how he beats Linares. Linares will look very good in this fight, him switching trainers and actually taking a bit of time away from fighting will pay dividend. He has been ironing out a few mistakes he has made in the past such as getting involved too much and neglecting defense when feeling comfortable.

Crolla style of pressure fighting behind a high guard will be exploited by Linares who unlike Barosa (wont gas) and Perez (more skilled) can penetrate Crollas high guard with precision uppercuts. I expect Linares to pace himself, should he have the need too (Linares can end this early with one shot)

I expect Crolla to be defensive early on, when the fight hits round 3-4 I expect Crolla to start attacking more and this is when Linares will begin to really punish Crolla with counter shots and combinations. What Crolla does from round 4 onward will determine if this fight goes the distance. If Crolla decides go into a shell he might lose wide on points otherwise if he decides to go out on his shield I expect a KO/TKO victory for Linares around 7-9.

Completely agree, although it will be a close fight. Crolla works on his opponent punching himself out in the first half of the fight and coming on strong in the last six rounds. Barrosa walked right into that trap and gassed. I think Lianres is too clever to fall for that and will pace himself better. Lianres on points I think, maybe a MD.

Crolla KO. He's just too good right now. Anyone thinking Linares wins by KO is insane. Crolla stood there and took Barrosa's bombs

But Barosso is one dimensional who's legs couldn't take him 12 rounds at a good pace, totally diffrent kettle of fish with linares

Crolla KO later rounds. Think early rounds will look good for Linares but Crolla will be cute enough to land good shots that will pay dividends in later rounds

One of these fights that's 50/50 in my book, and because so many British fighters have surprised me the last couple of years, I'm going with Crolla by KO7.

I probably jinxed the cr_p out of it now.

What gives you that impression? Were you not impressed by the manner of his win over Kevin?

yes absolutley but he as been in many wars seen him lose heart and questioned his mental state and crolla is improving vastly with maturity people peak at different stages
Jorge will show his world class ability but crolla might just out man him , we will have to see

were you not worried about his lack of motivation in the salgado fight and mental state after it on about maybe he might hang them up etc etc not quite cleverly esq but there was self doubt imo

would you still pick khan over brook ? even though the fight as now passed its sell by date its dead
