    Anthony Crolla will face Darleys Perez for the WBA world title on July 18th at the Manchester Arena on the undercard of Scott Quigg Vs Kiko Martinez.

    Winner has to face Derry Mathews within 90 days.

    Crolla via UD.

    Should be winnable for Crolla. It'll be interesting to see who wins the purse bids for Crolla/Matthews.

    I think Eddie will go big and win the bid for that. Could put it on this PPV bill with Brook/Rios they've planned or just have it on it's own. With the hype behind it, it would probably fill the MEN with a strong undercard.

    Winner to face Mathews? Hhhhm that's an odd one...

    Is it on the undercard of Quigg? I'd say it is the main event, given that on a normal show Crolla sells more tickets than Quigg.... This with the "occasion" I'd say Crolla sells it out..

    Let's hope Ant gets the win & lines up that derry trilogy ..

    Dont know much about perez other than went the distance with gamboa which shows he may have decent chin and his record looks like he can punch but then again mostly vs lower level fighters. You never know what you're getting with a Colombian

    Hearn said undercard, but it'll just be to save face on the whole Frampton thing won't it, he can't be refusing Frampton 60/40 outright and then lashing Quigg on undercards in his own City. Same way he said Quigg was the main event when Crolla fought Murray but he wasn't.

    Crolla could fill the MEN here, with everything that's gone on. I honestly doubt Quigg could fill his front room.

    Gamboa has no business at 135 though. He's a 128 (maybe even 122) fighter.

    Yeh when you put it that way, suppose Quigg has to be the main event, though like you say... I went to the crolla / Murray show for that fight, I can't even remember who Quigg was fighting if I'm totally honest..!

    So a fight for the actual WBA lightweight belt is at the undercard for the paper version of the WBA bantamweight belt...
    I have to agree that Martinez and Quigg are bigger names though.
