This would be a great war; a FOTY type if it lasted long enough.

    Andrade - the more durable - is 6'2, 31 years old, and 28-3 (21).

    Berrio - the harder hitter - is 6'1, 33 years old, and 29-5 (28!)

    Common opponents:

    Yusaf Mack
    Robert Stieglitz
    Lucian Bute

    Against these, Andrade is 2-2 (2; TKO8 and TKO7) and Berrio is 2-2 (2; TKO3 and TKO6).

In terms of boxing skill, honestly, they're about even (especially against straight-at-you types...see Tsypko for Andrade and Stieglitz II for Berrio...both set up their success behind a jab their non-cutie opponents were too slow and unfamiliar with using angles to slip).

Berrio has the worse chin but better defense.

Andrade has the straighter right hand (at times), but Berrio's looping one tends to be more devastating (when it actually connects).

    Very compelling, IMO.

The loser is done contending for world title belts at 168.

Good match. Andrade is coming apart at the seams, but he'll fight again. Why not this one?

I liked how Andrade started mixing up the uppercut's angle and reach in the fights he was allowed to... but then again, I'm a gushing Andrade fanboy. I'd pay to watch him fight a kangaroo for bus fare as much as I would for a title.

The way he reacted to Bute's body shot left me quite depressed.

If Berrio had problems neutralizing Andrade's uppercut and Andrade could see Berrio's hooks coming, I'd go back to being blindly delusional in a heartbeat.

That's what real boxing fans do.

Don't you have another band-wagon to jump on?

I like Andrade just a bit in this one. I don't know that Berrio is disciplined enough to keep Andrade off of him for a full 12 rounds. Berrio seems to have pretty much disappeared though.

Good fight, but Andrade hammers him. Berrio doesn't have the speed to catch Andrade with something he doesn't see and the pressure would just be too much.

They were talk for a Diaconu-Andrade fight but Librado doesn't want to fight at 175!

Very intersting match-up , Andrade have improve wile training with the Grants brothers and Berrio have been almost inactive .

I say Andrade late KO in a really crowd pleasing fight!

Andrade KO. I just don't see how Berrio copes with Andrade's pressure, and if he gets caught he's going down hard.
