Boredom is hardly an excuse to try and put someone in a coma.

I was at Wembley for the play off final Blackpool v Cardiff, now i must admit in my younger days I had more footie related rucks than I care to remember so i have no room to talk, but it always involved "similar minded" fans and nobody else, now to my mind Wembley finals are all about families, fancy dress and a party atmosphere. The number of Cardiff fans who were absolute numpties you would not believe, and I'm not talking about the odd few. There seemed a definite anti English agenda with them, and they preceded to cause trouble even when women and kids were all around.

We stayed over the night before and had a good crack with a few Cardiff fans in the hotel bar who were sound lads, but even they said that tomorrow "all the idiots will be in town"...........they weren't wrong.

Not painting them all with the same brush, but the percentage of knobs at that club is the highest I've come across.

i went to that and saw a big fight. dont know who was involved or who started it but it was a pretty good ruck. there was about 8 units all going for it and a circlke formed around them like the school playground. the crowd watching cheered them on and threw beer over them as the were brawling and slipping over in the beer. security turned up and they had beer thrown over them and then police arrived and they got coated too. sounds terrible but it was very entertaining. i do appreciate thast if you are involved or wih family etc it can ruin your night and be a bit ****.

Birmingham is pretty notorious for trouble. There was a period of about 10 years between major boxing matches in Englands second biggest city after crowd trouble at the last one. I've been to I don't know how many smaller boxing shows in Walsall right near it and they've always been fine. In this case the Welsh fans were very vocal but not in a bad way, they were just cheering on their guys, the Birmingham City fans seemed to be the ones starting it all, not that I'm suprised.

It's always the same people. They don't even go to football anymore - they just look for something to latch onto. As Loza said, it can be darts, boxing, they've even kicked off at a five a side tournament.
