Do you think you can name one cruiserweight top ten that could right now beat someone in the heavyweight top ten?
Chins permitting, Haye, Enzo and Cunningham would all have a shot. Alot of the heavyweights nowadays arent known for their power. I for one am backing David Haye to go on to win a world heavyweight title after he beats Maccarinelli.
i also agree, haye is a throwback to a classic HW,big, ripped, powerful and susceptible to an upset, all the makings for a classic hw great.
As its already been said..chin aside..Haye has got the power to establish himself at heavyweight..and i think he will :thumbsup
He'll be forced to go up to heavyweight after Enzo beats him up cos he wont want a rematch that's for sure
Haye coud beat many if not all current heavyweight top ten. Not saying he would... just he could. Haye's progress in the heavyweight division will be something to watch. He will knock guys out and be knocked out. How many of each is the only question, and thats what boxing is all about to me. He is capable of KOing every current top 10 heavy... and they all stand a chance of KOing him. I wouldnt be at all suprised if he wins a title, loses it, wins it again, loses again and so on. What is his profile like stateside? This is the sort of fighter that every true fight fan wants to see. If people havnt heard of him over there we need to spread the word. One thing I'd guarantee is that you'd never see a fight like Wlad-Sultan with Haye involved.
The Cruiserweight top ten is superior to the heavyweight top ten by far. Of course thats not saying the Cruisers are all that and a bag of chips.. its just that the heavys of today are horrible.
I totally disagree with you. I wouldnt bet a single coin on either Enzo or Cunningham against any decent top 20 heavy weight. David Haye? Who knows? First he has to prove that he can compete with top opposition in the big boys' league. Therefore stay calm and dont count your chickens before they are hatched. Haye has a promising potential, but the heavy weight division is untested and uncharted territory for him.Yes,I know that he defeated a Polish journeyman at heavy weight, but that victory doesnt really mean anyting at all. Haye has the nessecary firepower to give it a try,and so have Huck and Alexeev. Cunningham is too feather fisted to make an impact at heavy weight, and Enzo just doesnt have the skills nor the pop to make it there.
Non existant, although I think that will change. The boxing writers are aware of him as a HW prospect, and fighting Rahman would be a good move
