Which would win this Mega Cruiser-War of teh 2007 Haye who stopped Mormeck in 7 Round Or 1986 Qawi who lost v.close 15 rounder war with Holyfield??? [this fight = 12 rounds.]. Stats - This content is protected Haye Weight - 199lb Height - 6'3 Reach - 78" This content is protected Qawi weight - 189lb height - 5′ 5½″ reach - 71" my guess is Haye wins by TKO10 as he is teh bigger, More Powerful, faster man And he will beat Qawi who is teh same style as Mormeck - Just smaller And better , so he take longer too stop.
You've got to be kidding..Haye would think he was fighting a tank...Qawi, utilizing and maximizing to perfection that percieved "disadvantage" in height does to Haye what he did to Saad Muhammad..the pressure Qawi would apply would be debilitating and he decks the chinny Haye several times before the intervention of the referee in round 8. Like a junkyard dog having a steak bone yanked away from him, Qawi would be on Hayes ass from the second minute or so and the end would be a foregone conclusion, with Qawi laughing and enjoying the beatdown he'd be laying on the Briton.
David Haye would not land as much as Evander Holyfield did, because he is not that type of combination puncher. But David Haye hit harder than Holyfield at Cruiserweight, and he would land on Qawi. I think David Haye win's by TKO.
Qawi was a very underrated boxer. He was extremely diffucult to hit flush and the timing of his punches was sublime.Haye is wide open, relies too much on his quickness and power, forgoing defense and leaving himself wide open at times.Plus he's chinny.Plus he gasses and loses discipline as the fight goes on because he gasses. If Haye were in the dogfight that was the Holy-Qawi fight, either one would have knocked him out.He has neither fought a fighter as good as Qawi or Holy, nor been in that kind of dogfight.Qawi by late KO.
Superb vivid description, Qawi would bring painful pressure throughout & open him up inside with brutal body punches. :good
