Now we all know that "The Rock" would have been a Cruiser by today's standards, but what Cruisers would you pick over him and why?

there were a couple of Cruisers that did well against the big guys, Evander for one but I dont see any of them being able to handle the Rock and his power and pressure for 15 rds.

Langford, Dempsey, Evander would be competitive

I don't think I'd "favor" any of them. There might be a select few that I'd give a chance under 200, with Evander Holyfield leading the pack.

^ The voice of sanity as always ;)

Somebody said Dempsey, which I also think is fair. The Dempsey / Marciano matchup is hotly debated for a reason.

I pick Dempsey and Holyfield to beat him.
Langford has a decent chance ,Tunney, and a prime Charles too.

We know for definite he beats Jersey and Charles. For me that kinda rules out Tunney as well.

There is Holy who I would favour.

Given a 200 limit you have Frazier and Louis who beat him for me.

Below that the best chance is Langford and Dempsey although I would favour Rocky to prevail over both.

We know for definite he beat those versions of Walcott and Charles.
Given the difficulties he encountered in doing so I think the jury is still out that he would beat the versions of them that were prime a few years earlier.:think
