Welliver is still fighting? With all this inactivity and gyms closed, I can only imagine his weight...and the others.
Well, I like the fact he's out there participating. He's fought all over the place ... China, etc. Kind of better than many other HWs who are almost completely inactive.
We'll have some HW action on the 9th. Vianello is going to face Don Haynesworth, like he was supposed to before the fight got canceled. Given the circumstances it's not that bad, but he should take him out in a few rounds and fight more durable opponents. Jennings finished him in 3 rounds, so an early stoppage win over him won't tell us a lot about Guido's power (atm that's the main question that I have about him). American HW Jared Anderson is going to face Johnnie Langston on the same card, that looks like a more interesting fight, pretty decent for your 4th pro fight.
Guido Vianello defeated Don Haynesworth via 1st round TKO Jared Anderson defeated Johnnie Langston via 3rd round TKO on the same card.
Anderson seems to have a lo of potential, good power, size handspeed and great combinations (mainly to the body), but he looked really open for counters. The fight didnt tell us anything new about Vianello, I hope that his next fight will be against a really durable opponent.
Yeah only seen the Vianello fight so far. Thought Haynesworth would have lasted a bit longer than that. Vianello looks light on his feet, looks a bit slow throwing the straight right however.
Well many restaurants have been shut down lately in New York City. Big baby could be a a surprisingly low weight.
