Thanks. I may be in the minority, but I would like to see what he does. At 6'4", he might make a plausible heavy, and the division can always use guys. Maybe he will fighj one of the young guns after building himself back up.
His new trainer said he‘s around 105 kg (about 230 pounds) „naturally“ at the moment, so without any heavy lifting and stuff. He will have his first fight in Magdeburg (same location where Kabayel fought recently) on the 22nd of August. https://boxrec.com/en/event/812642
Is it my imagination or did Hernandez fight Zhang Junlong at one stage and it's been scrubbed from all records?
Going by Hearn interview on IFL uploaded today it seems Kuzmin is out of the Bakole fight. Not much was said apart from they’re trying to sort out an opponent. Also looking to get Dave Allen on the August 22nd card.
Covid definitely saved a lot of the pretenders from being exposed at HW. We were off to a great start of HW prospects/contenders getting exposed this year.
**** Kuzmin. Huge waste of talent. Lazy fatso could make an impact if he got into half decent shape and showed some drive. I just hope Allen isn't fed to Bakole...
Hoping Papin impresses against Fayfer. It has the potential to be a really ugly fight with Fayfers spoiling tactics. Here's to hoping Papin makes short work of him. It would be an impressive win(arguably his best) and could possibly set up a rematch with Makabu. Fayfer is ranked at #5 to Papins #4. On the other hand Mchunu is at #1 and that would be a great rematch as well for Makabu to take. There's also unifying with the Breidis/Dorticos winner or Goulamirian to consider as well. a ton of options for him.
I see Allen say on his insta that he’s not taking any late notice fights that could be detrimental to him. But like you said I can’t see who else Hearn can bring in at this late stage?
Nice step up fight for Koss. Sokolowski is a great opponent to gauge where he's at currently. If he impresses it's time for a big push.
