Daniel Dubois will now be facing Ricardo Snijders instead of Erik Pfeifer on August 29.

This will be a much easier fight for Dubois, I expect an early KO/TKO.

 

That is some bull****. Here I thought Pfiefer was a real man's man for stepping up and taking that fight.

POST SCRIPT:

Holy shucks! I take it all back. Pfiefer is claiming that the paperwork technicality that Dubois' camp is using is bogus, and it is they that are pulling out.

 

Interesting. Was quite interested originally but not with this new opponent now.

 

Pfeifer's manager:

“He is in the best shape of his career, he’s still sparring—we didn’t know how to tell him there is no fight. They knew he was going to beat Dubois and ruin their plans for (a fight between Dubois and) Joe Joyce. That’s why they never answered when I keep calling and texting them. They are scared, they are all p-ssies.”

“They are all untrustworthy. Frank Warren, his son, all of them,” claims Ceylan. “I will never again do business with these people. Everything will need to be signed in writing. I am a man of my word, I make deals and work hard to carry my reputation as a man of respect.

“These people are assh-les. They are not to be trusted and next time I see them, they will feel it.”

 

The Negron/Rice fight was scrapped unfortunately.

Christian Thun moves to 5-0 after a 5th round stoppage win over Jason Bergman.

 

I agree.
I know Snijders quite well. He's skilled and talented.
His work rate is high but his power isn't there.
Dubois will overpower him and knock him out within 3 rounds

 

Peter Kadiru moves to 9-0 with a 2nd round KO win over Muhammed Ali Durmaz. Kevin Johnson moves to 35-17-1 after winning via 7th round KO over Yoan Pablo Hernandez on the same card.

 

Babic is getting a lot of hype by some. I'm not sure why. He's short by today's standards and he was never a puncher in the amateurs or a top boxers in the amatuers

I couldn't believe what I was watching. Johnson was actually throwing punches!

 

He's an entertaining fighter to watch, and a quite a character outside the ring.

 

He could cause a lot more trouble for up and coming HWs if he opened up a bit more in fights instead of just standing there shoulder rolling and parrying shots for 10 rounds.
