This content is protected Pala held his own with Chisora too(garbage stoppage) I don't doubt with better management Pala may have been able to get a high ranking and cash out as a voluntary against one of the Klitschkos back in the early 2010s. He wasn't total garbage as the Price and Chisora fights prove.
Wow... Going thorugh his thread history, the guy was a genuine HW nerd. Though he may've stopped watching boxing after predicting Hughie to be the next big thing at HW. lol
He was also super huge on Scott, Mansour and Stiverne. Before any of them had huge fights. it's being generous saying some of his predictions didn't pan out but you can't deny the enthusiasm he had. Bear in mind even though not that long ago following boxing 6-10+ years ago was very different than today.

Pala had another run in the Ams trying to qualify for Tokyo 2020. So he has been active of sorts. Even though I’m not high on Hrgovic this is a pretty useless fight imo.
As John himself says in the interview. Credit to him for not being bitter over that loss considering Fury's success since. John got screwed over a lot(arguably worse) throughout his career - passed up for lots of big money fights(was looking for AJ, among others before retiring) both Williams losses were robberies. Can't see why he didn't get the fight with AJ considering he had the English title - but Skelton who lost to John in his previous fight did. The real reason John stepped away from boxing was the lack of offers for big fights coming his way. He loves the sport but wasn't about to fight for peanuts. Can't say I blame him.
