The WBA has chosen to give Jarrell Miller their #14 HW ranking for July, 2022. This is a huge vote of confidence in Mr. Miller. Clearly, they must believe that he is still capable of making a great deal of money for the right people under the right circumstances. We can only hope that Miller was sitting down when he read this shocking news. Moreover, we can only hope that the object that he was sitting on was an exercise bike.
Good fights between contenders coming: Helenius v Wilder H Fury v Hunter Parker v Joyce Ruiz v Ortiz Whyte v Dubois (rumoured)
Excellent and about time. Hopefully, there's a clause in the fight contract forbidding Hughie from coming within 100 yards of anything that came out of a cow because I'd need more than the fingers on one of my hands to count the number of fights that have been cancelled by Hughie's food allergies.
As expected, both Joe Cusumano (21-4, 19KOs) and Cassius Chaney (22-1, 15KOs) quickly took care of their criminally-overmatched opponents last Saturday night on the CES Boxing card at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut. Chaney dispatched Matthew McKinney before the end of the 1st round, dropping him three times along the way. Cusumano - apparently lacking a bit of inspiration - took until the middle of the 2nd round to dispose of Dennis Ventura. Very modest accomplishments, to be sure, but let's hope better opponents await both men (perhaps each other?).
Wow, seems like he is moving on fast now @Heavyweight. I'm really curious how the short Lerena is going to beat giant Wach.
Not even Rodney Berman can protect Larena at HW. Eventually he's going to have to **** or get off the pot. Because the judges won't be able to protect him from the punching power of real heavyweights. Maybe Berman is hoping for Dubois to vacate or lose the WBA Regular so Larena can ride the bum carousal for a few years again at Emperors palace with another fake belt.
This content is protected After Ryad Merhy pulled out of the fight with Goulamirian the WBA have ordered the fight with Egorov. Both teams have until September 7th to agree terms.
I wonder who Sanchez will be fighting on the Wilder-Helenius undercard? Someone like Gerald Washington wouldn't do him any good, he's past those guys now. Bakole, Demirezen or Wallin would make for better opponents.
