Bakhodir Jalolov (11-0, 11 KOs) will return to action against Curtis Harper (14-8, 9 KOs) on the undercard of the Nov 26th Zepedra vs. Prograis fight Harper stunned many of us last July by winning a clear UD over towering prospect Christian Thun. But it is extremely unlikely that he will be able to pull a similar upset against Jalolov. In fact, even at his best, I don't really see Harper as being much of a step-up from previous opponent Jack Mulowayi.
USA HW prospect Norman Neely (13-0, 8 KOs) is scheduled to fight one-time gatekeeper Jason Bergman (27-20-2, 18 KOs) in Mytrle Beach, South Carolina in a six round fight on November 5th. The end of Bergman's best was about a half dozen years ago. Faded as he is, he probably still has enough to make Neely pay - if Neely is sloppy in the first couple of rounds. Thereafter, I'd expect that Bergman will simply try to avoid gassing and use journeyman tactics to try to see the ending bell. Neely never looked remotely like stopping Terrell Jamal Woods in his last fight (a UD win which was closer than scored, IMO) - so Bergman can probably go the distance. Neely should win a deicison here, but he isn't going much farther.
Finally someone who agrees with me that this was one of Parker's better performances. He came to win and lost to a better man, giving us a great fight in the process. What's not to like? Would we prefer he never went for it, boxed super cautiously and lost a wide decision?
He left it all in the ring, can't fault him, and maybe unlucky to get caught clean by that one big shot.
I don't know but people talked about him after I think after the Carmack fight. He had a little following but just faded away.
Dilan Prasovic will face Pavel Spur on Nov. 8th lol. Is pillow body Prasovic mpbing to heavyweight now? lel
Kabeyal back on the 28th! No opponent named, so they are probably looking for a non-union construction worker, or something.
Someone like Joey Dawejko lined up for him then, followed by another tune up a year later against Christian Hammer.
So Big Mak's opponent will be Nigerian fighter Raphael Akpejiori (14-0, 13KO). What a dissappointment. https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/840891
He's not going to get anyone world class in there unless it's in a #1 eliminator. So he just needs to stay active and move up the rankings.
True. Still I was looking at videos from this Nigerian guy and he looks scary as ****. Good speed, good stance, good height and great power. Needs to work on his footwork. We'll see how it goes.
