LMAO, bet Wilder has a middle school education at best. Not saying he didn't get farther, but if tested I'd bet he would be 7th or 8th grade equivalent.
Usyk vs Dubois has finally been announced, it's official for August 26 in Poland. This content is protected
Speaking of Kingpin, apparently the result of his last fight against Aydin Yildrim has been overturned, at least according to Boxrec. Originally he got a DQ loss in the fifth round for low blows. Oddly though, it seems that rather than be changed to a no contest, it's now a TKO win for Johnson. Course since this is a smaller fight on boxrec it's possible the info is wrong, but I thought it was interesting all the same.
Terrell Jamal Woods returns tomorrow against 6'6 270+ pound Martin Paredes(6-0 2 KOs) in Pennsylvania. This will be Woods 96th fight as he looks for win #30. Also on the card Christopher Lovejoy (20-1-1 20 KOs) fights Marcelo Leandro Da Silva(22-5 17 KOs). Da Silva looks like he's about 50 years old. Fun fact, both Lovejoy and Da Silva have only one win against an opponent with a winning record each.
Also former 175 lb WBC title challenger and spoiler Epifanio Mendoza (45-35-1 38 KOs) battles 15-2 Anthony Martinez at heavyweight tonight. Hard to believe its been about 20 years since Mendoza was KOing potential prospects at middleweight on ESPN including Tokunbo Olajide (17-0 at the time) and Rubin Williams (19-0).
Wife beater Tom Schwarz has one scheduled against TBA on September 23, although he has had a few of these fall through in the last couple of years. Even though the guy lacks talent, has the thinnest of records, and, as an abuser of women, is distateful...well, that is all I wanted to say.
