This content is protected As part of a court settlement, Mahmoud Charr has been reappointed the Regular Champion at Heavyweight, bringing back the recently retired title after only five days. At least the WBA don't seem to be any happier about this than anyone else. Judging by the fact that the Charr-Miller fight has been given such a short window to happen, I'd guess they're hoping he fails to get the fight made so they can just strip him again
Sadly not my friend. But fear not, the WBA do still seem to be intent on ridding the world of their awful, dumbass creation. This was done with reluctance on their part and only because of a court settlement. It still sucks but at least this isn't the first part of them abandoning their plans to have just one champ per division. Hopefully anyways
Thanks. That was a good read. I always felt Maskahev didn’t reach his full potential. He fought alot of good fighters.
I don't care for the main event, but along with #WardleyAdeleye that's an excellent undercard! I'd prefer Kean vs Smakici and Makhmudov vs Parker for more competitive matchups, but it's good to see the heavyweights will back in action regardless. This content is protected
Kean vs. Makhmudov has the potential to be a nice brief shoot out, but it likely sees Kean getting sparked early on. Parker/Kean might actually be a fairly competitive fight.
