A couple of interesting matchups there, but Makhmudov should be fighting a more meaningful opponent than the chinny Smakici. I would prefer Kean-Smakici and Makhmudov-Parker, or Makhmudov-Bakole. Adeleye-Wardley is a good matchup. This content is protected This content is protected
Pretty sad that this fight has a chance to be a top 5 heavyweight fight for the year in terms of contenders fighting
This content is protected What a ****ing cheat Jalolov, is man. All the big guys like Dychko, Joyce who beat his ass easily are now competing in the pros. And the mother****er is still in the amateurs basically beating up 19-20 kids, who have no chance at him. What a selfish ****ing turd Jalolov. The guy is total bully.
Not this again. There's a whole multi-generation cohort of eastern fighters who make their move in the pro-ranks past prime. I'm tempted to start listing them, but I can't be bothered ... doing so will only add extra minutes of frustrating time following the frustrating time already spent typing in threads about when they're going to go pro, and how they could have made waves had they only been more active as pros earlier on. Doh !
He's already explained his rational behind doing it, and it makes sense. The division will be log jammed for 2 years at least, and in the meantime he's making a more money chasing that gold medal than he would smashing tomato cans. After the Olympics he'll turn pro, and hopefully the HW division will be less jammed by then. Will he actually progress quickly and not stall like many other EE fighters(particularly at HW) that remains to be seen, but his decision makes sense.
