Mark Petrovsky scored a 4th round KO over Lucas Browne.

Muslim Gadzhimagomedov won via 9th round stoppage against Artur Mann.

Evgeny Tishchenko stopped Harth to become some type of WBA Bridgerweight champion.

Man Yoka has been an absolute dud as a pro like many predicted. I thought he'd get found out at World level though, not European level haha.

Heavyweight Joey “Tank” Dawejko (27-10-4, 15 KOs) stopped Jesse Bryan (21-8-2, 16 KOs) in the first round on Saturday night at the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City. Dawejko already has another fight scheduled for January.

He was more or less caught as a PEDs cheat, and had to stop. His level plummeted.

Good for Petrovsky and Gadzhimagomedov. It is an absolute joke that Tischenko is now some sort of "champion."

Petrovsky's result suggests that Miller's stoppage of Browne earlier this year was no great accomplishment. It also suggests that it is time for Browne to stop.

A few upcoming fights concerning HW prospects...

On Friday, December 15th, 19 year-old USA prospect Lorenzo Medina (8-0, 7 KOs) will fight one-time cruiserweight prospect Joshua Temple (12-2) on the Jake Paul vs. Andre August card. Medina is a husky 6' 2" and looks more than a little like a cross between Andy Ruiz and Canelo Alvarez. IMO, he's an interesting prospect despite his lack of height and it would not shock me if his ceiling proves to be higher than the much-hyped Richard Torrez Jr. His opponent Temple was one of the better USA heavyweights (200 lbs) from 6-7 years ago. His CW career quickly ran aground several years ago, however, when he dropped two decisions to a 40 year-old journeyman (Luther Smith) and a Canadian club fighter. He was only fought sporadically since that time, but is a more skillful opponent than Median has faced so far in his brief career.

4-0 Armenain prospect Gurgen Hovhannisyan will return to action on January 4th against 41 year-old club fighter Colby Madison (11-6-2). Hovhannisyan last fought in October, 2022 when he stopped Michael Polite-Coffie in the 6th round of their fight. Since that time, Hovhannisyan was scheduled to fight both Viktor Faust and Charles Martin. But both of these fights were called off when Martin and Faust mysteriously suffered injuries prior to the fight. Madison has never gone the distance against a meaningful opponent, let alone beaten one, so Hovhannisyan should have no problem whatsoever disposing of him quickly. My gut tells me that Hovhannisyan could be a serious prospect and that Martin and Faust chose to duck him.

The same card also features a fight between 29 year-old USA prospect Dante Stone (13-1-1) and journeyman Alexander Flores (18-3-1). Stone had a long amateur career, though he never reached the top echelon. Stone managed to lose his first professional fight - a UD loss against club fighter Waldo Cortes Acosta. Stone's attempt to avenge that loss only resulted in a draw. To-date his best results are wide UD wins over Joel Caudle and Detrailous Webster (the latter being able to win a SD over Terrell Jamal Woods). So Stone is - at-best - a longshot prospect. His opponent, Flores, is best known for his cowardly showing against Luis Ortiz several years ago. Still, he's a good test for Stone because Flores *does* know how to box and was active last summer during the TCL exhibition last Spring.

Joe Jones has a bit of power, but his defense and chin are non-existent. His only chance (and it's very small) is to somehow clip Egorov in the opening seconds of that fight. Should be an easy stoppage win for Egorov.

A Philadelphia grudge match fight between Joey Dawejko and Sonny Conto is long overdue.

Late replacement as Joe Jones pulls out last minute. Elvis Garcia (12-1 KO 9) steps in.
