Good step up fight. Clarke is already 33 - he needs to hit the gas quickly. I remember him in the 2019 World Championships losing to a Russian whose last name was impossible to pronounce or spell.

I suspect that this could be either a fight with Jared Anderson or some sort of Bridgerweight title contest. Jennings has been more or less a camp body ever since the Joyce fight, so I have regarded him...as they say in Hollywood..."retired unless the right project comes along".

 

When will the big promotions sign Moses Jolly the Guy moves like Muhammad Ali and is getting the job done with everyone they put in front of him its only a matter of time he gets signed and we see him get the big fights such a talent

 

I will put Jolly on my radar.

Lol! I used to call Manswell the "Incredible Swelling Man" because it seemed he put on 15 lbs for every fight. Dinu actually stopped Manswell in 2014...back before Dinu took his pre-exposure sabbatical.

Manswell is 47 years old! The only question here is how much more he will weigh than Jarrell Miller!

 

I wonder how pedded up Miller was when he fought Dinu?

I previously posted that Ramirez's promoter wanted a shot at the WBA Goulamirian, so we will see whether team Zurdo will pursue this fight. Personally I think we will see Briedis face Cieslak for the IBF belt.

 

This guy is a KO waiting to happen. He was getting tagged too easy here. Joyce/Kownacki all over again.

Alexei Egorov has said that he will return in March and then fight Soslan Asbarov in the summer.

Seems the fight with Tischenko is off for now, due to him now campaigning at Bridgerweight.

 

He hadn't fought in a year and he certainly didn't look sharp. He was lucky that his opponent had all the destructive firepower of a junior varsity cheerleader.

 

A couple other heavyweight fights were on this card:

Dante Stone (14-1-0) logged an unimpressive UD decision over Alexander Flores (18-4-1) in an 8-round fight. Stone dropped Flores in the last round but this was a more competitive contest than it should have been.

And 2020 Ukranian Olympian Tsotne Rogava plowed through Dante Williams in a single round. Williams' prior 4-0 record was deceiving as even a cursory look at it reveals he was making long meals out of boxers like Jaden Booth and KeShawn Jackson.
