Kossobutskiy isn't a bad guy to spar against. Nowhere near the speed or skill of Usyk but a southpaw is a southpaw nonetheless.

Is Opetaia also going to spar with Fury? Or were those stories of Fury effectively running him out of camp because Jai was dominating were true?

Opetaia and Itauma are good sparring partners to prep for Usyk with Kossobutskiy acting as nice support.

 

Kudukhov is tough and will come to win. Will give Dychko some good rounds.

Why has Zhang withdrawn? Why can't he fight someone? Zhang could have fought Parker, could have fought Bakole etc. Why is he acting as if he is George Foreman and has another 10 years of fighting left?

 

Already past it. Remember, he had kidney failure on one fight.

I am glad we are past the Zhang-Parker rematch. Zhang took too much time. Thank goodness its over.

Kabayel-Zhang is an unexpected fight for me. I would have preferred Kabayel-Parker and Bakole-Zhang. But this Feb 22nd card might turn out to be the greatest card ever.

 

Point is, at 34, he needs to be in some big fights.

I like this and have mentioned it as a possibility in the past. Although not established markets, as an inter-African match-up it can be marketed as such.

Zhang dodging Bakole makes sense. Such a potentially bruising encounter for a belt is one thing, but he's probably best using his limited fights up on either winnable fights in China or established top name opposition in Saudi/UK/US.
