Yes, I agree - there are lots of interesting matchups that could be made.

They've been trying to make this for years. There is footage out there from many, many years ago of Briggs creaming "let's go champ" over and over again at Wilder.

    Completely flew under my radar.

Apparently Sergey Kovalev will be having his final fight this Friday, against Artur Mann on an IBA show.

Best of luck in retirement champ :ggg

...Assuming it sticks. Never know in boxing anymore!

Crazy to me how inactive heavyweights are these days. No fight until September? Ok…..

I would look to stay sharp and active if I were in his place, but hey, to each their own.

I'm not saying this is what Kabayel is doing at all, but when fighters do this (and are specific about the timing), I always think....is it to make sure you're cycled off whatever you were on so you don't get caught?

I ****ing called it. All this talk of "the winner of Kabayel-Zhang could fight AJ", "The WBC would approve Kabayel defending against Tyson Fury" and Kabayel himself saying he wants to fight Deontay Wilder, all just to end up with lame ass Lawrence Okolie after he pulled out of the Riakporhe fight. This is like an even lamer version of what's going on with Dubois and Parker.

    Oh, speaking of.

Usyk-Dubois II looking likely for July 12th.

Another rematch to a one sided fight... hooray :ohno

Would be pretty funny if Usyk just strategically dropped a belt at a time and then wins it back and becomes like a 5 times undisputed champion without losing

Making it even funnier, he'd go down as a five time Undisputed Heavyweight champion, yet also have zero Undisputed Heavyweight defenses.

Only in boxing could such a distinction be possible... Man, I love this ****ing sport, crazy ass unique circumstances and all :sisi1
