Isaiah Thomas is back at cruiser for the first time in nine years. He started off 15-0 and put him self in a good spot for an eliminator, nearly had his head taken off against Gassiev in a fight that ended up an NC because Gassiev hit after the bell, then lost two in a row to Michael Hunter and Mikaeljan. Now he's trying again against Miguel Angel Cobas, 14-6-5.

Probably too late, but he's a good boxer who lacks power. He was actually up on the cards against Gassiev, and Murat was lucky it didn't go a couple of more rounds and go to technical decision.

March 7, Ryan Rozicki back against someone named Gerardo Mellado, 12-4.

Also March 7 on a separate card, Roman Fress 23-1 takes on undefeated Tahir Karhovic, 23-0. I want to say Fress is a top contender for Bridger.

 

Must think he has a shot now with how bad CW is now. Which is true but idk if its bad enough for a guy who was never that good to begin with to plow through in his mid-late 30s after almost a decade out of the ring.

The Frank Sanchez-Richard Torrez purse bid has been postponed with a deal reportedly imminent.

Somehow this missed my eye, 48 year old Italian heavyweight fighting out of Thailand Alessio Bisutti suffered his second loss, this time by KO1 to now 8-0 8 KOs Tinnaphop Kittipayak who looks like he has fought across the weight classes and is only 20 years old.

Strangely the fight hasn't been uploaded to YouTube. Well, not that strange as Bisutti runs the promotion and usually uploads all his fights.

Bisutti drops to 14-2 12 KOs and loses out on winning the WBF heavyweight title.

 

Jerry Forrest returns Friday against 8-3 Walter Burns. Forrest is on a 3 fight win streak since losing to Jared Anderson and Pulev. Before that he held Big Bang Zhang and Michael Hunter to draws
