What do you guys think happened to Kudrya? I thought after he squashed JCG he was going to be something. Turned out that was by far the highest point of his career.

 

Does that mean that the German champ is an Asian guy? It's like part of the Bridgerweight exchange program, or something?

Yeah, me too. He looked like a total monster to be reckoned with. The turning point in his career came during his first fight with Duradola. Dimitri hurt him bad straight up in the first round and then clowned, not realising how dangerous Duradola could be. He got too cocky, he was never the same after.

 

He was that typical guy who was stuck in between weight classes. He cut a tremendous amount of weight to fight at Cruiser and it seriously affected his gas tank and punch resistance.
He typically weighs around 19st (260-70) for his fights nowadays, and has carried his power into the Heavyweight division. His punch resistance has improved drastically and I’ve not seen him wobbled or hurt since being up at the weight.
