Smakici has no stamina and is easy to knock out, Yoka would make more sense than Smakici...

Wardley-Dubois is a Queensberry promoted event. Miserly old Fish Eyes is too stingy to pay for a meaningful opponent for Jalolov.

Smakici is okay for about two rounds, but his stamina is poor and his chin is weak.

Bryant Jennings back May 22 against TBA, although this has all the makings of a fight that gets cancelled,

Dronov's next will be 9-10 Brandon Carmack. Kind of wish it was someone better, but I guess its an experienced journeyman

So Dacres was offered Jalolov as an opponent, but rejected him.

People disparage Jalolov for not fighting better opposition, but in reality it's not his fault. Promoters are unwilling to pay for better opponents, and heavyweights are avoiding him.

But Hrgovic has been able to get fights. Wasn't jalolov having promotional issues because he was signed to Top Rank but another outfit was they still had a deal with him? I'm also not saying it's not a tougher road for eastern euros but it's doable.

Hrgovic has had long periods of inactivity as well, and was avoided by all the IBF ranked heavyweights several years ago when he was slated for an IBF final eliminator. Zhang, who was also having trouble getting meaningful fights at that time, finally said "yes".

He is so powerful but also so slow. He really doesn't keep himself in good shape.

I took a look and watched some of Prenga, here's my breakdown

Santander Silgado - not much to look at, feeling out round until Prenga obliterates Silgado with a left hook. Silgado has taken a few naps in the first round before and after

Brandon Carmack- honestly look at Prenga signaling twice to Carmack, then land two whatever punches to the body, Carmack overacts his ass off. I don't know, looks like a dive.

Juan torres: again torres is barely in any shape to fight, a right hand that goes over his head (seriously) drops Torres and the ref waves it off in round 2.

Joey Dawejko: the best name on his resume, which is a usually durable journeyman. Dawejko had just lost via DQ to Torrez jr like a month before this and retired but came out of his short loved retirement to fight Prenga. Not much to say in this, Prenga going into round 5 looked to stay composed, the pace was slow but Prenga was winning the rounds. End comes when Dawejko lands a left to Prengas body, injures himself and can't continue. Should that go to the cards since no punch was landed? I don't know but it's over by KO

I tried to watch but couldn't find his fight vs a guy named Colliander from 2018, I saw highlights and he KOd Colliander after a right to the jaw. Only wanted to see this because strangely enough Colliander has two wins over former 1980s cruiserweight WBA champion Robert Daniels. Odd stuff

What did I learn? Well even the worst version of AJ is miles ahead of anything Prenga has seen in the pros. With the exception of Dawejko the opponents I saw were out of shape, looking to collapse, or just quit from exhaustion/ the first punch. So I think Prenga is in for a real rude awakening fighting uber drivers and mcDonalds workers to someone who actually has a full fight camp and has skills. He also seemed to be getting tagged by everyone so that defense maybe not the best

Now on the positive side if he's really 6'5 he's not a blob, he comes into fights in fighting shape by the looks of it. When the pressure is on who knows how good his cardio will be but he appeared to do fine against Dawejko going into 5. He does throw a 1-2 with the cross being deceptively quick and he does go to the body. He likes to throw a 4-3 to the body. Doesn't look like a complete moron in the ring.

All that being said, he has a punchers chance I guess but he really is jumping straight into the big leagues after spending his entire career bludgeoning guys in a low level rec center (figuratively but also a little literally). I think AJ is going to win his KO7. I think this guy can hang around a while.

    Whooo!

I am guessing Miller at the high end, or maybe Nelson Hysa at the low.

Dacres isn't really much of an opponent either.

    Somewhat better than Smakici though.

    Better chin and better stamina.

Egorov called out Papin after his win tonight.

Might be somewhat difficult as Papin is currently on the frontline.
