Dacres got ko'd in one for his loss. Chin can't be very good.

I agree Dacres getting stopped by Adeleye in round one shows his chin is not so good, but it's still better than glass-chinned Smakici, who has been stopped three times, including a KO 1 loss.

Fun, but is it going to count for anything? Boxrec doesn't even have it listed as IBA pro, much less a regular card. I hope the results get counted.

A lot of you know better than me about Surov, and he looks like a good boxer with fast hands and accuracy, but does he lack a little power? I'd say he has that stuck-in-the-amatuers-pitty-pattern-syndrome, but he threw the kitchen sink at the Mexican at the end. Again, I could be wrong here, but he may struggle with power.

    Now Zemlyokov has some power.

I genuinely think he was caught cold against Adelaye. Can happen to them all especially up at heavyweight.

No don’t worry abkut David, he can crack.
He only resorts to power when he gets tagged normally, but I will say he’s got it all.

Only last week he stopped Zemlyakov’s younger brother in a round, and few weeks before that got DQ’d for sparking an Iranian after the ref said stop boxing.

According to Ring Magazine, Usyk-Kabayel is in the works for the second half of year in Germany.

    Interesting.

If Wardley beats Dubois, I'd say Wardley deserves it more than Kabayel. Not quite sure Kabayel has done enough to warrant a title shot.

However, Kabayel would probably pose more stylistic challenges to Usyk than Wardley. But, I just think Usyk's footwork is too good for Kabayel to consistently land to the body.

He said he wasn't dropping any more belts, so I could be reading too much into this, but does that fact that he is going to fight Agit rather than Fabio maybe mean that Fabio is being steered towards the winner of Joshua-Fury...maybe with the winners on each side to fight each other?

    We can only hope.

I see where you're coming from now!

Wardley might get away with being inactive for a year as that is the norm these days sadly. As Fury - AJ won't take place until November, and Usyk will be busy until 2027. He may end up having a choice between Usyk or Fury-AJ for early 2027.

I doubt Wardley will risk fighting the WBO mandatory Itauma with a huge payday to follow. So he could take a tune-up against a ranked WBO gatekeeper or so later this year until the other fights settle.

I was rather hoping CBS would fight Viddal Riley next but I suppose genuinely good match ups aren't easily made.
