Spilka returns on august card.Two most possible opponents are Yasmani Consuegra and Nagy Aguilera.

 

According to Marius Wach.No contract proposals from Recowski camp or Joshua camp.Joshua fight is in early negotations,long way untill compleation.He is in early talks with Pol Sat for new deal,so Recowski fight is more closer in theory.He prefers Recowski fight due to this most likely being held in Poland.He waits for fight offers any day soon.He is ok with Joshua fight.He knows he is underdog in fight against Joshua,but will take fight 100%.

Josip Bepo Filipi beat Bahram Muzaffer via 3/0,I actually think Bahram won.Bahram outpunched Filipi during first two rounds and slipped punches from Bepo well.Filipi wasn't too active during the fight.He pressed in that last round hard but was cut bad.Easy win for Manukian in semis.P.S.Bahram impressed me today.Good beggining for European Amateur Championships in august.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xd70RLZEnL4.Skip -1:21:18.

Superheavyweight semifinals were held today,altough one didn't happen.

Mahammadrasul Majidov(AZE) lost to Gasan Gimbatov by walkover.He sustained eye injury prior to this bout.Gimbatov in final.

P.S.Medzhidov is injured and out of the tournament.He didn't qualify for Rio.Hrgovic qualify as only one from WSB.

Gimbatov/Joyce is good final.Gimbatov has power and Joyce is too open.And Joyce will be the taller man and has experience to stun or even stop Gimbatov with his non stop punching style.But I favor Gimbatov in final.He doesn't leave himself open to punches and is good mover,rather quick for his size,have good balance and packs a punch.

Heavyweight semifinals:

Gevorg Manukian beat Josip Bepo Filipi via tko 1,Filipi suffered deep cut.Complete beatdown by Gevorg.

Abdulkadir Abdullayev beat Sadam Magomedov via two round to one.Tough fight for both.Sadam stunned his opponent one time in 1st,two times in second,and one in third round.Abdullaev was more active and was relying on combination punching.Sadam tried to knock his opponent out but wasn't too active to do it.Most activity came from him in 3 round last 15 seconds.Abdullaev was more elusive,evading punches and keeping distance,but still was hit by plenty Magomedov's punches.

P.S.I doubt Abdulaev wil win this competition.Manukian is too good for him,I think.I think it will be 2/1 sd decision for Gevorg.
