Gevorg Manukian beat Josip Bepo Filipi via tko 1,Filipi suffered deep cut.Complete beatdown by Gevorg.

Abdulkadir Abdullayev beat Sadam Magomedov via two round to one.Tough fight for both.Sadam stunned his opponent one time in 1st,two times in second,and one in third round.Abdullaev was more active and was relying on combination punching.Sadam tried to knock his opponent out but wasn't too active to do it.Most activity came from him in 3 round last 15 seconds.Abdullaev was more elusive,evading punches and keeping distance,but still was hit by plenty Magomedov's punches.

P.S.I doubt Abdulaev wil win this competition.Manukian is too good for him,I think.I think it will be 2/1 sd decision for Gevorg.

Superheavyweight final.

No wonder for me.I always thoght he is better than Parker.Parker lost to Heredia(22 years old) and Abdulaev in not so good fashion.

Gevorg Manukian(UKR) beat Kristiyan Dimitrov(BUL) 3/0,Dimitrov was knocked down once and warned two times.

They will face each other in quarterfinal.

Bahram Muzaffer(TUR) beat Leanid Charnabayeu(BEL) 3/0.

Mahammadrasul Majidov beat Ali Demirezen via 3/0.decent effort but was slow on his feet and pretty wide too.

Gasan Gimbatov beat Yan Sudzilouski via 3/0,looks good,boxes similiar to Povetkin.

They will face each other in semifinals,by no means easy fight for Medzhidov.

Tony Yoka beat Dean Gardiner via 3/0,put good performace in this fight.

Joe Joyce beat Mantas Valavicius via tko 1,with one knockdown.Good performances against obscure opposition.

Josip Bepo Filipi beat Bahram Muzaffer via 3/0,I actually think Bahram won.Bahram outpunched Filipi during first two rounds and slipped punches from Bepo well.Filipi wasn't too active during the fight.He pressed in that last round hard but was cut bad.Easy win for Manukian in semis.P.S.Bahram impressed me today.Good beggining for European Amateur Championships in august.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xd70RLZEnL4.Skip -1:21:18.

P.S.Medzhidov is injured and out of the tournament.He didn't qualify for Rio.Hrgovic qualify as only one from WSB.

Gimbatov/Joyce is good final.Gimbatov has power and Joyce is too open.And Joyce will be the taller man and has experience to stun or even stop Gimbatov with his non stop punching style.But I favor Gimbatov in final.He doesn't leave himself open to punches and is good mover,rather quick for his size,have good balance and packs a punch.

They can qualify in European amateur championship.If they are chosen by their country to represent them in European Championships.No doubt about Medhzidov.Russia's team are considering Omarov's candidacy.
