From what I hear Chambers has been struggling to get meaningful fights and is just trying to stay busy...
Yeah it would be nice to see Chambers back in a meaningful fight instead of mismatches. I understand wanting a few easy fights to get back into things. He's been pretty inactive the last few years and had one win over the course of nearly 5 years. A few soft touches made sense. The activity level is really good but it seems 5 straight fights against low level guys is hopefully enough and he's back in with another top heavyweight in his next fight. I always wanted to see him rematch Povetkin, don't know if thats the direction he's heading but I'd personally like to see it.
Povetkin-Chambers was a close fight that saw Chambers winning most of the first half before fading the second half. Povetkin is clearly the hotter fighter at the moment and would be favored if they fought today. But if Chambers is close to his form from a few years ago is still one of the top heavyweights out there and has already proven he can give Povetkin trouble. I don't know what Chambers has left and I don't know what direction he is headed but if he's still close to his top form and gets himself back into the top 10 a rematch could be a very nice fight.
Helenius hasn't fought in over a year, and will probably have a few tune up fights before jumping back in with quality heavyweights again. I'd favor Chambers against Solis, and I think a fight with Perez would be fairly competitive but I lean towards Perez only slightly.
Willis Meehan debuted in professional rng today. He won via ud against William Quarrie.Dropping him twice in second round. He is Kali Meehan's son.He is nineteen year's old.
