Austin must need the money. He's well past his shelf date and has been increasingly active in the last year or so, before that he was fairly inactive.
I wish Hammer could be forced into the ring with Dinu. He gets demolished for the 4th time, and Dinu shoots up the rankings and is in the mix over night. Hammer wants nothing to do with him though, Dinu has called him out several times over the years.
Just read that Joshua will fight Molina, what a sick joke. Read that Klitshko will fight Joshua next year...............
Joshua fighting Molina is a bit of a joke I agree, but I'm willing to cut him a bit of slack because he's stepped up in class relatively quick and hasn't feasted on bums for years like Wilder. Joshua has only been pro for 3 years and just look what he's done compared to what Wilder had done at the same point. Wilder was still crushing bums 25-30 fights in. Despite having less than half as many fights, Joshuas resume is already more or less on par with Wilders. Certainly after this it will be. As for Wlad. I just hope he steps in the ring again soon if he's to continue. At his age staying inactive is a mistake.
Shot to **** Owen Beck stepping back in the ring tomorrow to lose some more brain cells against Ignacio Esparza. Beck has lost his last 9 fights(all but 1 by stoppage) furthermore he hasn't won a fight since 2009. This is his first time stepping back in the ring in almost 4 years.. Last time out he was steamrolled by the corpse of Maskaev who could barely beat Jason Gavern, and went the distance with Williams who was almost as shot as Beck. Sad thing is... Beck/Maskaev actually would have been a fairly good fight back in the early 2000s. Since these guys insist on fighting on and having their remaining brain cells beaten out of them, who would win in the battle of "Who's the most shot early 2000s HW contender" Williams or Beck?
Joshua vs Molina is absolutely terrible, how could anyone think its a good fight? Even Duhaupas would have been much better.
10/29 Apart from Owen Beck looking to get himself killed in Mexico.... We have Tom Dallas back out again for the 1st time since losing to Martin last year. Sergey Kuzmin taking on Mike Shepherd David "Brown Buttabean" Letele facing a debut'er Ruslan Myrsatayev v.s Nuhu Alzuma on the Kanat Islam/Patrick Allotey undercard https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruslan_Myrsatayev has some decent amateur pedigree, but probably better suited for CW. Herve Hubeaux continues his tomato can crushing spree.
