Just a question ... where does Pulev fit in with the Wlad/AJ winner? Is the IBF is going to force Pulev as the next fight? If it's Joshua it would be a interesting match up IMO.
Here is a thing, Pulev is not number 1 in IBF ranks, so he will fight in an eliminator or will have to wait when he is number 1 in ranks to really fight winner straight away.IBF has said he will face winner straight away but nothing has surfaced from them since that statement, so I don't think that will happen next.Ortiz will fight winner and Pulev will face the winner of Ortiz against Klitschko or Joshua.
Bellew said he has 12 months left in a sport, that's good for him and a sport, I hope that Haye will retire this year as well to let young generation in.
Good, this fight wasn't for a title, they both aren't even the best in their divisions and yet this fight was hyped up like a fight between the best from both divisions.Hope Hearn doesn't make the rematch.
Promoter Russian heavyweight Alexander Povetkin Andrey Ryabinsky commented on the news that Povetkin was disqualified for the WBC dorping: "Sasha Povetkin removed by the WBC. For other versions will be performing. The WBC also achieve justification, but it takes time. I know all the facts of the case Povetkin and is absolutely sure that he is innocent. Prove it's not easy, but we will do so. While there are by the WBC trial, Alexander Povetkin will act on other versions of boxing WBO, WBA and IBF ", - he wrote on Twitter Ryabinsky. http://boxingnews.com.ua/en/news/18900-promouter-povetkina-sasha-budet-vystupat
My prediction is that he has two more fights. A cash out at HW, then will attempt to fight one of the big dogs at CW and retire. Probably will go 0-2 in the process but exit with a lot of cash as well lol.
Tom Schwarz vs. Ivica Bacurin on the 11th. Good progress fight for Schwarz. Bacurin is tough and will likely go the distance as well as cause Schwarz some problems.
Alexander Frank TKO'd Timur Zaslavskiy in the 3rd rd. Wasn't Frank supposed to fight Jun Long Zhang? Know he was set to fight someone decent anyways. Probably good for his sake that he pulled out, he's terrible.
I don't rate Schwarz. But he's in shape, young, has some fundamentals, good physical attributes. Could become a European title level fighter potentially if he improves. Really enjoyed his fight with Mezencev, so he can be exciting as well if forced to fight.
