I agree.I think Dermizen can win at least an EBU title and beat some name fighters as well, he certainly has a style to do it.I think he can become a contender, I can imagine the host of guys who he can beat, like Whyte, Breazeale, Stiverne and so on, he is faster than them and has a good covering up ability, explosiveness and also can get close to his opponent fast, looks like he has good stamina as well.I doubt he will become a champion but certainly has a style to go far enough and gain himself supporters.
I for one will bet my coins on Breazale,Stiverne,Whyte, and so on. I am not sold on him.His chin hasnt been tested yet, neither has his heart nor his stamina been tested. My gut feeling somehow tells me that he will run out of gas if a fight is longer than 3-4 rounds.Besides his firepower isnt really that impressive. Of course........I freely admit that I can be totally wrong.Far too early to judge him correctly. Neverthless.....................
Kubrat Pulev vs Kevin Johnson 28th April in Sofia, Bulgaria for the WBA Inter-continental title .... what a shame for Pulev...
This is his M/O now unfortunately. He did nothing for almost a year after being KO'd by Wlad, then took on two journeymen before facing and beating Chisora a few months later(that restored some of his credibility and reaffirmed his status as a top 10 fighter) but he very quickly went back to being inactive and facing hasbeens and journeymen every 6 months. Very disappointing. He should at the very least face someone like Hammer or Wach next... Those guys are highly ranked and very beatable for him.
So much for Parker/Fury or the Joshua/Klitschko winner, or not facing former PED users. Wilder is a joke. Ortiz is available and wants the fight, too bad that he tested positive a few years back - oh well, let's see if we can get Wach in the ring!
I think Wach tested positive too some time ago and about Pulev I don't think it's all up to Pulev , but more it's about the way he is promoted.....
Well, Breazeale, Stiverne and Whyte are slow on foot, so do to him having faster foot work and fact that he has the good chin and good attacking style will win him these fights.
But on a more serious note I think Wilder has given all the decision making to his handlers if he would pick his next fight he would lose his title straight away.So his talk about potential matchups doesn't mean anything.
