Happy to see Takam staying busy... Bacurin is a tough guy who usually gives rounds, the ideal opponent when you're looking to stay busy while waiting for a bigger fight to materialize. Still want to see Takam/Duhaupas at some point this year...
Mike Perez is back! This content is protected Here I thought I was out of shape. Turns out I'm in better shape as the Slowakian and IBU International Cruiserweight champion.

Boxers need to reach the last eight in Kharkiv to secure a place at the World Championships. GB Boxing’s Performance Director, Rob McCracken, said: “This is an inexperienced team that we are taking to the first major tournament of a new Olympic cycle, so it will be a learning experience for a lot of the boxers. “The European Championships is always tough and the competition will be fierce, however it is an opportunity for all of the boxers to show they can perform at this level and have the capability to be successful and win medals as we progress through the cycle towards the next Olympics.” http://www.*****.net/2017/06/12/news/gb-boxing-squad-announced-for-european-championships
I feel like the HW division is frozen. Povetkin - Rudenko and Szpillka - Kownacki are the only "fine" fights. If you are not a hardcore fan u wouldn't even know theese fights were made.
Yep, HW division is in limbo. Even Briggs-Oquendo didn't come through. Sooner Wlad makes his call the better ... Tyson Fury and his year of nothing really stalled everything.
Tervel Pulev is scheduled to fight on 30 June vs Vladimir Reznicek in Berlin, Germany. I think it's ok for his 4th fight... Reznicek hasn't been KO'ed ( yet ) so he could give him some rounds. Sauerland are sticking to the plan until the end of the year to make Tervel a contender for the EU title.
He's 34 and they know they've got no time to waste with him, like the sense of urgency. That's a realistic goal given his amateur credentials and activity thus far this year.
