Murat Gasijew (24-0, 17 KO) is confident of victory over Krzysztof Włodarczyk (53-3-1, 37 KOs) in the quarterfinals of the World Boxing Super Series tournament, but at the same time he is very respectful of the Pole. - There are no easy rivals in this tournament. Włodarczyk is a very experienced athlete, former world champion and compulsory IBF title contender. I am sure I will win. This will be a good fight - says the Russian. - Will knockout? Let others type, there is no shortage of specialists who understand boxing - he adds. http://www.bokser.org/content/2017/07/09/103642/index.jsp
Gassiev, Usyk and Briedis all have easy 1st round opponents. Dorticos/Kudryashov is probably the most competitive opening fight, although I lean towards the Cuban.
I don't think Dorticos/Kudryashov is competitive.Kudryashov has a weak chin and stamina for 6 rounds max, so no this isn't competitive fight.
Getting the top talent to agree wouldn't be an easy task... But even a tournament with the likes of Povetkin, Takam, Whyte, Browne, Chisora, Miller, Hammer and Ruiz Jr. would be pretty sweet.
what do you think of the bracket I listed? I deliberately left out the belt holders and guys like the Fury's who are unreliable. These are all road warriors who have no problems fighting anyone, anywhere at any time.
Kudryashov stops Dorticos inside 3 rounds. Perez MD's the overrated Briedis Usyk UD's Huck Gassiev TKO Diablo
