Well-known Russian promoter Vladimir Khryunov in an interview with the Republican Internet portal Sports.kz spoke about the prospects of Kazakhstan boxer Ivan Dychko in the pro ranks.

Then Ivan should not forget his country, for which he spoke, and which gave him everything he has in boxing, and try to be closer to Kazakhstan. I would in his place ask for help from the leaders of Kazakhstan boxing in analyzing the situation that is developing around his promotion contract and what is being offered to him further. Ivan could well continue to perform in the national team of Kazakhstan and be there on the leadership positions. A reverse example of such a decision is Daniyar Yeleusinov, who, I heard, decided to continue his amateur career and try to become a two-time Olympic champion. Sorry, but so far I have a skeptical attitude about the managerial part of the career of Ivan Dychko. Not with the strongest promoter and manager will work Dychko.

- What can you say about the company The Heavyweight Factory, with which Ivan Dychko now collaborates?
- Nothing good. The other day Kazakhstan boxer Isa Akberbaev won a second round TKO over Ukrainian Yuri Barashian in the fight for the title of East Asian champion in the WBA version in the first heavyweight division. Correspondent of the Republican Internet portal Sports.kz contacted Isa Akhberbaev and asked him to share his impressions of the past battle.

- Isa, it was your first fight after a long enough pause. How difficult was it to box?
- No, it was not difficult, because I quickly recovered after a minor injury. He kept his uniform constantly, so it was not difficult to approach the combat readiness for this fight. There was also fighting practice. Well felt. There were no problems.

- Why was Sochi chosen for the return to the ring?
- There was a proposal to hold a battle with Ukrainian Yuri Barashian. We agreed, because this fight seemed interesting to us. And where? They said that in Sochi. We agreed.

- Did you expect that you will win the fight already in the second round?
- Of course not. I was sure that I would be able to win with a clear advantage, but nobody could have guessed that everything would turn out like this.

- Did your opponent surprise you?
- Absolutely nothing. He boxed because of his abilities. He pre-watched his fights, so he knew how he would behave.

- Already have plans, who can become your next rival?
- Yes, there is, but this is still a secret.

- When to wait for the next fight?
- Wait, soon.

- Which leader of the first heavy weight would you like to meet in the future?
- Absolutely with any.

- Who do you consider the favorite of the World Super Series (World Boxing Super Series) tournament, in which the boxers of the first heavyweight will take part?
- Of course, - my friend, a former sparring partner, World Champion Murat Gassiev. I consider him one of the favorites. Also I will note the world champion under the version of WBC Myris Briedis. Alexander Usik is a good, experienced, cunning boxer. There is also Dmitry Kudryashov. If Dmitry Kudryashov and Murat Gassiev will be on the grid, they can meet in the semifinals. Personally, my opinion is that for Russian boxing it would not be very good. It would be better to divorce them to the finals by subgroups. But it so happened with a toss.

 

Mitchell's last outing came in October when he outpointed Scott Alexander to win the vacant NABF Junior heavyweight title. After registering five wins in 2015 and 2016, the current length of inactivity is the longest of Mitchell's young career. The time off, however, is by design.
"I got a late start in the sport so it was important to be active early on," said Mitchell, who turned 37 in May. "Now that I've built up my resume, I can be more selective in when I fight."
Mitchell's opponent, Bissett, has spent time in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. His marquee fight came early in his career - a knockout loss to recent world title challenger Dominic Breazeale.
Mitchell holds an amateur win over Breazeale and has previously sparred with top heavyweights Deontay Wilder and Charles Martin. After winning his first 13 fights by knockout, Mitchell has gone the distance in his last two outings. By being aggressive early, Mitchell plans to start a new knockout win streak.

- Will Vadim be at the press conference before the next show you arrive or represent "The World of Boxing"?

- Most likely, I will, but Vadim will take the reins of government. I will not stand back from this, sometimes I will comment on something, but Vadim's role will increase.

- From what I heard - the dollar has grown, the real estate market in Moscow is in stagnation, and this is not the best time to finance boxing.

- All this is felt, now times are more difficult than before, I need to work more, but in my case this is not due to the fight against the crisis, the crisis began in 2014. We are undergoing a serious reorganization within the company, we are leaving to large volumes. There are several projects where exactly my participation is absolutely necessary.

- In one of the articles about you this subtitle: "Ryabinsky is not allowed to renovate." Conclusion: it hit you.

- I do not know where your colleagues take such data. If I had something bad about the main business, I would have said so straightforward. As for the renovation and participation of developers in it - the state budget is allocated for renovation, and the government of Moscow is engaged in this. If we talk about participation, contractors, general contractors, suppliers of construction materials are interested there, this is not exactly development business.

- Before you start investing in boxing, you did not choose between boxing and MMA?

- There was no choice, because I had never had anything to do with MMA, but I still had boxing, I was engaged in it, boxers were in the circle of communication.

MMA should be developed, it's interesting, this is the sport of the future, because the debate about who is stronger always existed. There are examples of commercially successful projects - the UFC is a very serious promotion. We have Fight Nights, Vadim Finkelstein does a lot. The fights of Fedor Emelianenko are valuable in themselves - you watch repetitions from Pride, he gets out of such difficult situations, when, it seems, nothing can be done.

I do not know, I would be interested in the MMA once, from the point of view of organizing and funding battles. It is impossible to exclude, but today there are enough problems and expenses in boxing.

- In the Urals before the fight Lebedev fights MMA Shtyrkov. What if you make Shlemenko fight before Povetkin's fight?

"I do not see anything wrong with that." People want to see an interesting spectacle, class fighters, so that it would be interesting. It is important that there are no fights, when our always win, and not ours always lose. The public sees this at once.

- Is there any way for you to convert fame to boxing?

- First of all, this is such a thing as reputation. When people see that the first person of the company behaves decently and in pleasant moments for themselves, and in difficult situations, they understand that he and the leader adhere to the same principles.

- About difficult situations. 2016: two rivals refuse to box with Povetkin, Lebedev loses to Gassiev, Grigory Drozd is injured, Troyanovsky suffers the first defeat in his career and loses two titles. There was a feeling that the year does not add up and you do something systematically wrong?

- I thought about the fact that everything does not happen exactly. There are periods when you are not lucky, although it seems that you are ready for any troubles. The nature of a man is to show oneself also when everything is bad for you. And fight. During our work, many became world champions, someone in two versions. Someone later lost, but we are doing an honest boxing. Our principle is that we brought a strong rival, and then who won already, he won. Edward lost the grip of a stupid blow he had to see, Denis Lebedev lost to Gassiev, although it was a classic equal fight, but the judges said that Gassiyev defeated.

In the situation with Povetkin we manifest a masculine character. I was told more than once that in the US the promoter would refuse the boxer. It was said that the help to Alexander is connected with serious money and there is no economic expediency in it. I answered that we have different relations: Povetkin is my friend, I will protect him, because it is beyond the material.

- Povetkin became one of the last Russians who had problems because of meldonia. When at the beginning of the year because of meldonia, the athletes' problems started, did they think that one of your boxers would also be at risk?

The question is: what are you guilty of?

- Grigory Drozd named two names of people who warned him that meldoniy was included in the list of prohibited preparations. Are you sure that the same people were in Alexander Povetkin's team?

- He received a warning and after that he did not use meldon. Warnings before it lead the doctor and sports director.

- In the fight with Wilder, you won the auction with a stake of more than seven million dollars. The battle did not take place. What is the fate of money?

"Seven million is the cumulative fee of both fighters." Of these, 4.5 million is Wilder's fee. This money is put on an escrow account, and access to them for Wilder's people would open with a gong blow. Since the battle did not take place, and both sides claimed the money, the escrow agent said he needed a court order to give money to someone. But with Wilder's team, we are judged not only for money. We have a claim for the failure of the fight, and the next claim will be the issue of compensation for moral harm. It's a world-blown story, where both me and Alexander Povetkin were accused of such things that hit our reputation. We will prove this, we will ask the opposite side to apologize to us and pay for image losses.

- What is the parallel doping test for Povetkin?

- This is one of the most serious scientists in the world of anti-doping specialists and in particular in the field, and he gave us a lot of useful information. At Povetkin now there is such a team, which, I think, in the world there is not one athlete, even Ronaldo. These are two law firms: in the US and Russia, it's about ten experts from the US, Holland, Germany. These are people who have studied the issue of biochemistry, who occupy management positions in WADA laboratories and they advise our lawyers.

Simply with Alexander it became a matter of principle, we snacked and we had to create an international working group. We will have a court, the process can last a year or a year and a half, and we have many interesting facts in this regard. In court we will voice them. With meldooning, we are absolutely right, there are no doubts, and according to the rest we already have different conclusions from American, British, German experts who say that such content in the body is simply impossible if he used the intention deliberately. We have a position on this topic and we will understand and beat off these accusations against Sasha.

- Before the fight with Wilder there were several days, but in the second case (fight with Bermein Stiver on December 16 in Yekaterinburg) you learned about a positive doping test on the day of the fight. Remember this moment?

- It was one of the most stressful situations during the time in boxing. The news came at night, I took the phone in the morning, saw 58 unanswered calls and realized that we had problems. I called our sports director, Dmitry Ivanov, checked the mail, and we began to think about how to behave in this situation. There was a difficult moment: in addition to the fact that Alexander is doping, in addition to the fact that the rival is leaving, we also learn that Ioanna Duope has lost his luggage and he has no clothes to enter the ring. To get a boxer of the 47th size in Yekaterinburg in the evening was an impossible task. He went out in sneakers, and this, unfortunately, was hotly debated on the net.

- What did the arrangement look like with Duhuapas, who came on as a substitute?

- Knowing that Don King is a specific person, we agreed in advance with Duhuapas, who came and was ready to enter the ring. We agreed that if a battle with Stivern took place, he would simply be a spectator and receive a small compensation. If something happens, he will be ready to enter the ring and receive a fee. He agreed.

- Did you communicate with Don King that day?

- No, we did not talk. His boxer decided to leave, their right.

"Did they claim a fee for this fight?"

"They did not raise this question." Just left and all.
