the cruiserweight winner will move up to heavyweight no matter who it is I think. and there first fight at hw should be a warm up vs like a takam, whiyte, spizilka type guy just to test them selves.
There 3 favourites right now Gasiev, Dorticos and Usyk. Out of the 3 only Gasiev and Usyk would be good at heavyweight. Dorticos skinny frame and suspect chin would be his downfall at heavyweight but only against very best. As for Gasiev, I think he will move up win or lose. Gasiev and Usyk would have a decent chance against Joshua. Gasiev even more than Usyk would have a chance against Joshua because he has all the tools to upset Joshua.
EC Boxing has cancelled the show in Hamburg, slated on November 1 that would have featured heavyweights Agron Smakici, Adrian Granat and Ali Eren Demirezen along with cruisers Nikola Milicic and Hüseyn Cinkara. EC will now instead stage a bigger event on December 22, also in Hamburg, with the above mentioned Smakici and Granat along with Alexander Dimitrenko and Fatih Keles in the headliners. I'm sure that Hearn will force on Wilder the Whyte fight. When he will beat Helenius he will be mandatory even if WBC tie him to another eliminator he still will fight Wilder in 2018. It's a bad business decision from Wilder to not face Whyte for 4 mill in England, this will backfire on him money wise.
I agree with you that both Gassiev and Usyk will be good at HW. Honestly either would have about as much chance to beat Joshua as anyone else in the division.
If Whyte would beat Helenius and Breazeale he would be looked as a worthy challenger in eyes of the public and would do decent PPV or general viewing numbers.
In a press conference today held in Sofia, Bulgaria , Kubrat Pulev explained more about his injury and his future plans. He said he will probably make a come back early in 2018 and it is possible to be in Chicago, USA. Why Chicago someone might ask, well in Chicago there are 400 000 Bulgarians officially ( idk about illegal ones ) I hope we will see someone from top30 at least against him. Please no Peters or Johnson!
haha where are you from man? You are always super informed about everything that is going on in Europe about boxing.
