- I'm going to fight one more fight, and then I'll get AJ. This is Eddie Hear's idea. That's what I heard from him - reveals the unbeaten "Big Baby" who in the last performance stopped Mariusz Wach.
Well yeah Eddie is positioning him to be his IBF mandatory. And it looks like he doesn't want to risk it so his next fight will be against some bum. Hearn wants AJ's 1st fight in the US to be against Miller, this much is clear.
Whenever I watch Noel Gevor I get bored silly. What a boring fighter he is! I saw his last fight live and was so bored that I hardly paid attention to his performance in the ring. Usuallly, this never happens! I very much hope that he will be on the undercard of Usyk vs Gassiev/Dorticos fighting either Glowaki or Masternak and get beaten from pillow to post. Extremely boring fighter he is,N.Gevor!

Viktor Petrochenko, the coach of the Russian boxer Maxim Vlasov , told a few days ago that on February 3 in Sochi Vlasov will meet not with Gusmira Perdomo , but will face Olanreva Durodola, who agreed to fight against the Russian and has already received a visa. "Perdomo is a spoiler." I was against him and persuaded Max to give up the fight. Opponent to him is not dangerous and uninteresting, "said Petrochenko and added that after the breakdown of the fight against other proposed opponent in Ilunga Makabu, the Nigerian was looking for other opportunities. "They told us that he did not fight, but he is ready and wants to box with Max." "This fight can be remembered for a long time: a puncher and a boxer," Petrochenko added. - Two different styles. This is always a bright fights. One must declassify the other on boxing technique, and the second one must get into. Durodola has little chance of winning if he does not knock out Max. Therefore, the battle will be extremely serious. "
Shumenov will return to the ring after the long lay of because of eye injury. 34-year-old former world champion in two weight categories Beibut Shumenov (17-2, 11KO) can hold a duel for the world title. "This year there will be a title fight, and after a couple of battles I will be ready to go out with the strongest boxers of the world." As for the weight category, I will box in parallel - both in the cruiserweight and in the heavyweight category, "Shumenov said. Earlier, the former owner of the championship belts in two weight classes Shumenov announced the resumption of professional career. The 34-year-old Kazakhman also told about the nearest plans.
Gasiev looks like a genuine guy. Much better than Usyk who has sick skills but who looks to have arrogant/bully like personality, I bet he is friendly only in public. Props to Gasiev for knowing English, that will always give him better paydays than the guys who don't know English.
Prediction for Gasiev/Dorticos fight. It's a difficult pick but I will go for Dorticos. I have seen Dorticos stoppage to Beterbiev in amateurs and I know that he has 3 loses to Dmitry Chudinov(Two by 2 round stoppage) in their 4 amateur fights but I think he knows how to deal with pressure in pro ranks. I saw his fight with Kalenga and was surprised how well he was able to take the pressure and power of Kalenga, he won by 5 points in my scorecard. Dorticos has great amateur experience against the best amateurs and that always will help against the guy who had little amateur experience. Gasiev never talks in length about his amateur experience but from what I have seen, I can say that he had very little amateur experience without any major accomplishments. Gasiev has power and chin but he lacks two things, he doesn't have accuracy and amateur pedigree to beat the very best. I could be wrong but I pick Dorticos to upset Gasiev via majority decision.
Correction, Dorticos fought Chudinov 4 times, won one fight and lost 3 times to Dmitry Chudinov, two by 2 round KO's and one fight he lost by 32:24 decision in their fights in the amateur ranks.
Joe Joyce will fight the formidable Rudolf Jozic 4-1 (3KO) on February 16. Tough test for Joyce, haha.
