Leonet is a solid domestic scalp. Should set up a fight with Ouatah who is a tier or so higher later in the year. Duhaupas in early-mid 2019 or so etc.

 

Turner is probably a natural SMW-LHW lol. The fact that he's only been stopped once is pretty impressive. His beard is definitely solid.

Yes he can hit, and has some skills. I think his hand speed is average, and his short arms are too short. He's going to need to get past Hrgovic's jab, which he won't, and take his right hand or hook before landing. Hrgovic with his superior mobility, and long arms to hit him from a distance could have an easy night if he fights say like Wlad used to.

I saw a bit of Turner, he's an offensive minded type, hardly a good cover up and counter type like Little was.

 

Big Baby seems to be a bottom level top ten guy in the times we are in. He should lose some weight, but it doesn't seem to take much away from his speed or stamina. Worthy of a title shot down the road, I think.

A hard time?

I disagree. Heavyweight boxing has changed over the years. If this was 1980, a fighter of Turner's dimensions 5'11" tall, with what I'd guess to be about a 73" reach would be much better off!

Heavyweight boxing has changed. Now all the top boxers are about 6'4 to 6'8" tall, with an 80+ reach, and well versed in how to fight on the outside. If the taller man has good skills, the shorter squatty type is in over his head, can't jab back or land anything unless he's close. To compound problem for the shorter fighter, if the much taller man is also the more mobile man, as Hrgovic is, he can't catch up to him either.

I doubt Hrgovic fights Turner as he did with say Nistor, who was better than Turner in a read stand and trade type of match! If he does, he's throwing way his natural advantages.

Hrgovic's handlers have no problem with this match. As a manager if you heavyweight fighter has a suspect chin, or untested stamina, in theory a shorter squatty type with a punch has a much better chance to upset.

Maybe Yoka handlers would not take this match.

I don't disagree. But Hrgovic needs to say disciplined and not underestimate Turner that's all. I expect a dominant performance as well.

 

That NFL reject needs to give Nagy and Amir their rematches! Uncle Al doesn't care enough about him anymore to pay the judges off.
