British promoter Eddie Hearn commented on the proposal made by Deontay Wilder, according to which Anthony Joshua will receive a guaranteed $ 50 million or half of the income for the unifying heavyweight fight, if he exceeds $ 100 million. Under this proposal, the contract for the fight should also not include the terms of the rematch, and the place and time of the match is chosen by the Wilder team.

"We received an email from Deontay Wilder's personal address with a proposal to split the 50/50 fee with a guaranteed fee for Joshua of $ 50 million," the promoter told Sky Sports. "With all due respect to Deontay Wilder, I do not think he personally has 50 million." But if they send official papers and a contract, and explain how this money will be paid, we will certainly take this offer seriously. On Friday we have a meeting scheduled, let's see how serious it all is. "

It should be noted that Shelly Finkel, the co-promoter of Deontey Wilder, confirmed in an interview with Sky Sports that they had made such an offer, but specified that the contract should be signed before the end of Thursday, that is before Hirne personally met with Wilder's team. Finkel also said that although according to the terms of the proposal, the Wilder side will solely determine the place of the battle, this does not mean that it will be held in the US.

I think Ortiz's equivalent in way how his career is going is Viktor Postol. Faced mostly over matched opposition and when stepped up got defeated but still a top 10 fighter. I like both fighters but I expect few more loses for both before they retire.

Wach/Molina is the only one where the result is really in question. Happy to see Ugonoh back and Kassi is a solid return fight all things considered, but don't think he'll have very many problems. Szpilka wins a snoozefest decision over the durable and cagey Guinn - Najman should be able to stop the younger Latvian journeyman.

When is Jacobs going to make his cruiserweight debut? After he beats Charlo the cripple beater? How long can Jacobs make 160, which he really doesn't.........................I guess he could starve and fight at light heavyweight? Perhaps he should fight Beterbiev next as Beterbiev needs an opponent....................Beterbiev, a light heavyweight fighting a cruiserweight Jacobs...................then Jacobs can move up and fight Usyk or Gassiev.............

Wow, I thought Guinn must have retired. 15 years ago I'd have favoured Guinn by a long way. Still, even at this age he will probably go the distance. Good comeback fight for Szpilka ... I guess.
