Meanwhile Eddie Hearn, Whyte’s promoter, has filed an appeal with the WBC regarding its order for Whyte and Ortiz to fight for what the WBC called its second mandatory spot.

 

On May 23, a tender will be held to mark the organizer of the fight for the heavyweight European Championship between Agit Kabayel (18-0, 13 KO) and Alexander Dimitrenko (41-3, 26 KO).

25-year-old Kabayel holds the European Boxing Union belt since February last year. So far, he defended him twice, and last time he boxed in February, winning by technical knockout with Miljan Rovcanin.

Dimitrenko fought his last fight in December. Last year, the 35-year-old rebuilt his position in the heavyweight rankings, knocking out Adrian Granat in the first round.
