While Miller wants the fight, his promoter, Dmitry Salita, says the boxer will not travel to Pulev's backyard of Bulgaria. Epic Sports are looking to stage the contest in Sofia. "Jarrell is interested in a fight with Pulev, but not in Sofia," Salita exclusively told Sky Sports. "We're still in discussions about that fight. "From what I understand, they've had some discussions about not doing the fight in the United States. I think there is an openness to it, but obviously they would have to comment on that. "Jarrell wants meaningful fights. He wants to fight the best fighters in the world, he wants to progress his career. As a result of the last fight, when he beat Johann Duhaupas, he became the mandatory to fight the winner of Charr-Oquendo, so that is something that we're interested in. Miller has also been mentioned as a potential future opponent for Joshua - even without a mandatory order. "There was also talk about Jarrell fighting Anthony Joshua. Anthony was rumoured to come to the United States for his US debut," Salita said. "It was something that I believe [promoter] Eddie (Hearn) and Jarrell talked about right after his last win, which was a very impressive win. As we see in boxing, things changes from day to day." IBF public relations director Jeanette Salazar indicates that her organization is waiting for both sides to work out details - or they will move forward to another name in the rankings. "If Miller were to pull out, then we would go back to the ratings, and then we would go in order and it would be the first leading available contender," Salazar said. "Miller has 15 days from when he receives the contract to either accept the offer or turn it down, so from what we are aware of, the purse bid was on the 25th, he was sent a contract on the 26th, so we're still within that 15-day period."
Povetkin's display against Price wasn't great but he is psychologically very strong, so he might impress against Joshua.
Sergey Kuzmin is training in the US for his next fight. In mid-August, the US will host the next fight of undefeated Russian heavyweight Sergei Kuzmin . For the two-time Champion of Russia and European Champion and silver medal winner in amateur boxing Sergey Kuzmin this fight will be 13 outing in the professional ring.
Ali Eren Demerizen and Umut Camkiran is the best heavyweights from Turkey and both are impressing in pro's so far.
The heavyweight from the Dominican republic Goerge Arias is a free agent once again as his contract with the previous promoter has ended.
Puritchamiashvili has become on my favorite HW journeyman. He's cagey and deceptively skilled despite his appearance. He was doing alright here... Shame he hurt his hand. Demirezen has yet to really set himself apart from the other recent amateur turn overs go. But considering his pedigree he can't be completely overlooked......
Yeah and he ko'd Yoka, completely outpunched and roughed up Joyce in Turkey and gave 2 more very tough fights to Joyce where in one he was jobbed. And in second he marked up Joyce's face so bad that he looked like a pumpkin afterwards. Demerizen's chin is pure steel and he pumches hard. His guard is quite good as well.
Polley looked terrible even by his standards and might have even taken a dive off that final left hook. Good to see Trey back but hope to see him in with someone better next time out.
