The heavyweight clash between Erkan Teper and Robert Helenius is back on, reports German website boxen1.com. The two were recently co-challengers for the EU title but no deal was made and then Teper signed for a fight against Edmund Gerber for September 29 in Stuttgart with the vacant IBF I/C title at stake. However, according to boxen1.com, Gerber has pulled out due to illness and in comes Helenius, on late notice, with about a month to go.
Heavyweight Erik Pfeifer have signed with EC Box Promotion in Hamburg (Germany) and makes his pro debut on September 15 in Luebeck. Pfeifer have been among the best heavyweights in the amateurs for some time now and have also been a "pro" with AIBA.
A very short turnaround for Dimitrenko. I could only imagine the opponent they'll pull out for him. Someone like Zoltan Csala is what I'm expecting.

Another amatuer has gone pro, this time it's Josip Bepo Filipi, cruiserweight from Croatia. He is arguably the best Croatian cruiserweight from the amateurs. Josip Bepo Filippi will make his pro debut on September 8th card. P.S. In 2008 he became Croatian cadet champion and in 2010 Croatian youth champion. At the Croatian Elite Class Championships, he won gold in 2017, silver in 2013, and bronze in 2012, 2015 and 2016. He won a bronze medal in 2008 at the Junior European Championships in Plovdiv. 2013 followed the silver medal at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin and in 2015 a bronze medal at the European Games in Baku. Acomplished amateur Yamil Peralta has turned pro. He won his first pro fight by KO in 1st round. P.S. More about his amateur career: At the 2010 South American Games he was stopped by Carlos Gongora and won Bronze at light heavy but moved up afterwards. At the 2011 Pan American Games he lost the heavyweight semifinal to eventual champion Lenier Pero 9:13. At the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships he lost his first bout to Canadian Samir El Mais, whom he beat at the Olympic qualifier in a rematch 15:12, which was enough to punch his London ticket even though he lost the final to Michael Hunter 10:12. At the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's heavyweight he defeated Chouaib Bouloudinat but lost to Tervel Pulev 10:13.
