As ESPN reports with reference to numerous sources, the fight between WBC heavyweight champion Deonteus Wilder and ex-world champion in this weight Tyson Fury which took place on December 1 in California and ended with a controversial outright decision, brought about 325 thousand sales of paid broadcast (PPV) in the United States. Based on this amount, income from a paid broadcast in the United States is $ 24 million, although about half of this amount will be taken away by TV channels and other distributors.

Showtime, which broadcasted this fight, declined to comment on the results of sales of paid broadcasts, but ESPN notes that this amount is a good achievement given that this was the first PPV fight for both boxers, and Fury was little known in the United States.
