He caught Ouatah with a big shot after a clinch and clearly hurt him badly.

Nice job but I would have preferred to see Fa in action longer. I'm not a big fan of the "don't end the fight quickly - you need rounds" mentality because the best way of doing that is to seek out better opponents. But with Al Haymon and Di Bella pulling the levers, you never really know if that's going to happen until there' s a big money fight on the table - at which point their fighter could be unprepared.

If I had to guess - I think Fa is going to be fighting the winner of the Arreola - Augustine bout next. And I think Arreola is going to catch & stop a raw/unprepared Augustine early - so Arreola gets to play gatekeeper here.

To be fair, most fights against Rudenko are boring. If scientists created a fighter from the genetic material of Christian Hammer, Dominick Guinn, and Zack Page - there is little doubt that the result of that experiment would be Andrey Rudenko. Tough-minded, with good survival skills - but not inspiring and only really capable of beating lesser versions of himself (e.g. Jason Bergman).

I definitely regret that the Kabayel-Wallin fight didn't happen because Wallin is a skilled boxer-puncher - though not overpowering. Wallin could, quite possibly, keep Kabayel off of him and win wide on points.

Martin can't afford another loss and I suspect that Kownacki is now in the queue as a possible Wilder or Joshua opponent and won't want to take any chances.

If he's going to fight in the USA, then Eric Molina or Chris Arreola seem like possibilities as their opportunities to earn money for their respective promoters are nearing their end.

    Nice one.

Sokolowski is one of my favourite fighters right now. Game, tough guy.

“I want to make the Parker fight for the undercard of Dillian on July 13th,” Hearn said to IFL TV about Chisora facing Parker on the Whyte undercard on July 13 in London. “So, Dereck will come out in a 10 round fight on April 20, and then hopefully win, and then come out an fight Joseph Parker on July 13th.”

“We’re looking at Povetkin, Takam, and other guys,” Hearn said to IFL TV. “If he doesn’t fight Povetkin, Povetkin will be on that card fighting probably [Michael] Hunter, and then they’ll [Usyk and Povetkin] fight each other next,” Hearn said.

“Povetkin would rather have a fight, and then fight him,” Hearn said about Povetkin preferring to have a tune-up fight next before he faces Usyk.

Also on the same card that featured Fa, Ahio, Arias and Shaw was newish-prospect Alante Green who was able to dispose of his opponent (Anthony Trotter) via 2nd round TKO. Green is more of a "fringe prospect" but he was present at the US Olympic Trials in 2015. I believe he lost to Brandon Lynch via UD there.
