"I hear a lot of lies," King said on Fightnews.com. “They say I requested 15 million for the Brian vs Joshua fight.” But I have not requested a cent yet. I didn’t talk to Eddie, but I left him a bunch of messages and he definitely has my number. I’m ready to discuss everything with Hearn or Joshua, and Brian is ready to fight ... I’ll be happy to help organize a great boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Trevor Brian - this will allow boxing fans around the world to see a great championship fight. ”
Robert Alfonso/Iago Kiladze on May 18th. Great step up for talented Alfonso. I always kinda believed in Afonso's ability, his amateur career speaks for himself. I think Alfonso will be in some quality fights months ahead.
Kazakhstan Boxing Federation in danger to be excluded from AIBA. The AIBA Compliance Commission Working Group, consisting of Giorgio Brunioli, Pat Fiakko and Terry Smith (chair), met in Bangkok during the Asian Boxing Championship to determine if complaints should be sent from the AIBA Executive Committee and the Asian Boxing Confederation ( ASBC), to the AIBA Disciplinary Commission. The committee considered a complaint filed by the ASBC Executive Committee regarding the alleged inability of the former ASBC president Serik Konakbayev to transfer the archival and financial documents of the Confederation to the new leadership of ASBC. The Commission recommended that the AIBA Executive Board provide a brief report on compliance with the requirements of the AIBA Disciplinary Commission for action. The commission also reviewed evidence presented by the AIBA Executive Committee regarding Bekjan Bektenov, who allegedly tried to force the National Federations to create a new organization to manage the Olympic qualifying tournaments. The Commission recommended that the AIBA Executive Committee refer this case to the disciplinary commission, along with a recommendation to suspend Bektenov of the AIBA member position because of his constant attempts to meet with national federations and violate the disciplinary code.

Cruiserweight legend Marco Huck has switched up his career in a massive way as he has relocated to New York in order to work with one of the world's most highly respected trainers Andre Rozier. Huck is no stranger to anyone in world boxing, having destructively demolished many of the main cruiserweights of the last decade, which included 13 defences of his world title. The former IBO and WBO cruiserweight champion is now eyeing a run in the heavyweight division and explained his decision to move stateside to work with Rozier and move up to heavyweight. The Captain said, "I wanted a fresh start and to work with a top class trainer like Andre Rozier and I have found a new home in the USA. I am training harder than I have ever in my career and I know that this change will only bring me success in the Heavyweight division. "Training really is another level with Andre and the Havoc team and I promise everyone they will see a more destructive Marco Huck than they have ever seen before. The Havoc team are really the best and I am blessed to be working with them and I am very grateful for this opportunity.” “I will fight anyone in the heavyweight division if it helps me get towards my goal on becoming heavyweight champion of the world. Brooklyn legend and Captain of Team Havoc Andre Rozier gave his assessment on his new big punching charge, “Marco is a legend in boxing, we are all aware of how he can fight, but we are looking to add to Marco’s game and that will be the ingredients to bringing him success in the heavyweight division. “He has settled very well and all of the boys like him in the gym. The camp, in general, is buzzing, all the boys push each other and that is only helping Marco finally push himself to reach his full potential. We still haven’t seen the best of Marco Huck.” Rozier has guided multiple world champions to success with the most notable being Daniel Jacobs. Huck discussed his plans now he is set to campaign in the heavyweight division, “I want to be a 2 weight world champion and I believe this move in training camp and not having to cut weight will make a massive difference in my performance and I will become heavyweight champion.
The slow progression of his pro career coupled with the poor track record of Cuban HWs once they defect makes this bout a worrying one for any Alfonso supporter. Also the fact that he just went the distance with a geriatric and shot to **** Ray Austin is equally concerning. Kiladze is decent he's just been matched very harshly. I wouldn't be shocked at all to see an upset here.
Now that Dychko has finally finished watching every episode of Battlestar Galactica over the last 9 months, I expect to see him fighting more often. He's only 28 or 29 but he doesn't really have time to be taking extended breaks between fighting low level opposition IMO.
