I don't know. Charr at his best is a solid fringe contender. I think it would go like the Ustinov fight only more one sided.
I thought Fa vs Parker in NZ might be better than making something out of the WBO. But if Wilder or Fury can somehow get their hands on the WBO belt in 2020, they're going to be looking for voluntary defenses ...
Decent chance Fa ****s that up. He better have seen that Guinn fight as a wake up call or he's going to be upset by a journeyman.
If Fa stays unbeaten then it could be a big fight down here. Problem is, is that Fa isn't as well known down here as Parker is mainly due to Fa not fighting a hell of a lot down here and Duco really shoving Parker down the public's throats. Having said that, Tua v Cameron was huge down here despite the massive gulf in class and with Fa being Tongan and Parker being Samoan, both communities are bound to get behind it massively if promoted right.
Wouldn't suprise me if he did. I'm not high on Fa at all but Charr isn't anything special either so yeah, a genuine 50/50 fight.
All right, if no one has called attention to this one, I would like to. On November 9, 15 (13) -0 Agron Smaciki (and what a great name for a fighter) out of Croatia takes on 11 (10) -0 Kossobutsiy from Kazakhstan. Smaciki has beaten a couple of shopwarn trialhorses in Mazakin and Pedyura. Kossobutsiy has a least one win that rises to the level of notable in Osborn Machimana. I have never seen either of these guys in action, and they may very well be awful, but I like these kinds of showdowns. They crush the cans in front of them, are willing to put their zeros on the line, and both are relatively young in the 29-30 range, so a new heavyweight of interest could come out of it.
Hughie Fury will face Pavel Sour in a 10 rounder in Monte Carlo on November 30. Demsey McKean moves to 17-0 with a 3rd round stoppage over Scott Belshaw last night.
Lucas Browne defeated John Hopoate via 2nd round stoppage to move to 29-2. Looks like him and Demsey McKean will be facing each other in March next year. A real crossroads fight for the 2.
When does Hrgovic fight next and vs whom? I hope he on the undercard of Ruiz jr vs Joshua. Also, wouldn't Joyce vs. Dubios make sense in 2020?
