    Mormeck
    Haye
    O' Neil Bell
    Huck
    Ding a ling
    Macrenilli
    Adameck
    Cunningham
    Braithwaite
    Jirov

    etc

Who says heavyweight boxing is dead? Rocky Marciano would have been a Cruiserweight today. So would Jack Johnson. Any1 agree? Heavyweight is basically those who are too lazy to train to get to thier best weight, guys like Toney, Brewster, Rachman, Byrd, Holyfield, 6 foot guys or 7 foot freaks of nature who are to slow to make an exciting contest. :-((

The cruiserweight division is definitely better than the heavyweight division, today.

I wouldn't say that Holyfield is too lazy to train. You can criticize the man a lot these days but one area that you can't blast the man on is his physical conditioning.

But I agree, the Cruiserweight division for once actually seems to be a very exciting division these days.

I beg to differ. FIrst of all, heavy weight is usually for peoiple who are naturally bigger. I also believe cruiser weight is for heavy people who are just starting their career, or just plain suck. THey choose to remain in the cruisers because they know they wilol get their ass janded to them by the HW's.

And second of all, is Wlad ever out of shape? No, any time i have ever seen him, he is in great shape, and is finely chiseled. Only James TOney and Valuev are the HW's with less than desireable physiques.

i never said Wlad was out of shape. Im trying to say that the average Heavyweight is out of shape. Have you seen Danny Williams? How many ripped heavys do you see nowadays? Compared to yesteryear, not many.

I don't think the cruiserweight division is THAT bad, it's a division full of guys who are big but just not big enough. Some heavyweights are just way too big these days. Even smaller heavyweights like David Tua, or Mike Tyson were built like station wagons. Most top cruiserweights are also in good shape, as well.

That is the worst sentence I have ever seen on this forum, and I've witnessed some major tripe!

they should just scrap the cruiserweight division, then you have an instantly good heavy scene. the average heavyweight today looks like a bouncer.

You hit the nail on the head here, the cruisers are tearing it up! Don't forget Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (former IBF champ), he's 1-1 with Cunningham and while not the most skilled boxer, always brings excitement to the show.
