Does anyone remember when CW was for nevilles? Then Tomas Hitman Hearns won the title and it went up from there. I guess given the human species is getting bigger that the cruiser are more relevant in todays society- size wise if that makes sense. Back in the 50's and 60's big man were middleweights..... times hava changed me thinks.
Yea i'm with you mate i would much rather see a decent Cruiser bout than two fat farkers lean and puff their way through 4 rounds before someone gives up , European Cruiser Enzo Maccarinelli is defending his title on a decent card in Birmingham UK in September v the unbeaten Alexander Frenkle, i know Enzo has been parked up a few times in recent years but he did well in going to Russia to ko the former champion Kotlobay , Cruiser is defo a decent weight for a bloke to be fighting at this day and age .Enzo v Danny Green would be a decent fight but Danny i suspect wouldn't fancy dancing with a genuine cruiser .
