Breaking News: Wilfried Sauerland wants to create the Super Six Tournament in CW division. There are supposed to be of course six boxers, 3 from Sauerland's team - Steve 'USS' Cunningham, Muamer Huckic, Yoan Pablo Hernandez - also Krzysztof 'Diablo' Wlodarczyk (in case if he defeats Fragomeni 15th of May in WBC worldtitle battle) and Enzo Maccarinelli, who's the sixth? source doesn't give the name. Nice, huh ? Cunningham would own whole company imo, what are your thoughts ? and who you would like to see as the sixth man ? I'd prefer Lebedev - Alexeev winner.
The reason people give a **** about the super 6 is that the the super middle weight devision is stacked at the moment. No one cares about the likes of Enzo Mac somebody needs to stick a fork in that guy.
yes, 6man tournament as in SMW is too long, a 4/8-man eliminator style as at HW-IBF some tme ago would be better and faster including all the current belt holders and top one/two contenders neutral ground is not good from the economical point of view but the neutral judges may be the key factor
Ye, Muamer Huckic is Marco Huck. I use his proper name. Flores is a good option too, Ross is fighting USS probably, so one of them both will be for sure excluded from the tournament. I bet it's Ross, also in my opinion uncle Wilfired took USS to take part in CWSS so.. he won't do it without USS.
The same Cunningham who lost first time round to Wlodarczyk, and got put down 3 times by a former LHW enroute to losing. Still who knows
Just wondering why you bit the best one out of there, I see nothing shameless in this what you wrote. He's incredible boxer. haters not allowed ,i,
I imagine the sixth would be Alexander Frenkel, who is also a Sauerland fighter. No way would it be a Universum guy, so that eliminates Alexeev and Ramirez. Not sure this one works as well as SMW. They'd probably have a tough time getting non-German and non-Polish networks paying much to get the rights for this one. Maybe Showtime would buy it if Ross is the 6th, but Cunningham-Ross is already scheduled. Maybe UK TV would buy if herbie Hide is also involved. But Cunningham and Enzo aren't big enough names on their own to get US or UK TV to pay much for this.
I have nothing against Cunningham and as you say he isnt a bad boxer, just pointing that like all the others, after you wrote you think Cunningham would own them that he has vulnerabilities like the others do to. Not a hater, but im still not completely sold yet, I wonder if he might have been hyped a bit early
Yeah your'e right. I think the proposed line up would only appeal to hardcore fans, to attract the casuals (and make serious money) it would need a Hopkins type name.
