Tapia is set to face Masternak and Glowacky is set to face Gevor. And the winner of these pairs will face each other. And the winner of the tournament for reserves will face the champion of the World Boxing Super Series, according to Richard Shaefer. All the fights are set for the undercards of the semi finals.
Glowackjob for sure. He should have been in the original lineup, as he's better as the four already dismissed guys imo.
Waiting for the next fight, the world heavyweight champion Krzysztof Głowacki (28-1, 18 KO) was a coach for one day and stood in the corner of his brother Jacek at the Uniforms Championships in boxing. Family cooperation gave effect in the form of the first place in the competition. - From an early age, together, we tried to conquer the world, we developed our passions and kept rushing head to head, we were always supportive and motivated, and most importantly friends. My brother is always with me in the most important moments of my life, yesterday I had the opportunity to repay him and take the role of a trainer on such an important day. Duma stretches my heart - wrote on Facebook a boxer Sferis KnockOut Promotions. Głowacki, currently the highest ranked Polish boxer without division into weight categories, will probably return to the ring on January 27 at the World Boxing Super Series in Riga with Noel Gevor (23-1, 10 KO). The main attraction of the January gala will be the WBSS semi-final in the limit of 200 pounds with the participation of WBO champion Oleksandra Usyka (13-0, 11 KO) and WBS champion Mairis Briedis (23-0, 18 KO). Głowacki and Gevor are contracted as reserve players of the tournament and in the event of an injury of the Ukrainian or Latvian, they have a chance to perform in the duel of the evening. http://www.ringpolska.pl/krzysztof-...-narozniku-brata-wroci-prawdopodobnie-w-rydze
not but do these fights on the side early next year, like the original post mentioned about the cruiserweights
Keith Tapia is favorite in clash against Masternak. Masternak can box, can bang a bit but Tapia is relentless with his pressure like style and has the work rate to stop Masternak or win by points. And from what I have seen from Masternak doesn't have the power to hurt or even stop Tapia.
Glowacky has a tricky task in Gevor. Gevor has a good chin and has work rate and power to get Glowacky in trouble.
Decent enough match ups. I don’t think the winner of those 4(probably Glowacki) faces the WBSS winner since that guy probably moves up to heavyweight after the tournament.
This is all coming together nicely. I really like how the main tourney winner has to face another tough challenge straight away, not resting on his laurels and taking a soft touch. Whoever comes out top dog will have earned their place the hard way and nobody will be able to deny their due props.
